It's troubling to see just how lost our secondary has been the last couple years. Any QB with half a pulse gives us fits.

And do we even practice special teams any more?

Sims definitely wasn't playing good. He missed quite a few receivers and Ole Miss dropped at least 3 sure interceptions.

Our defense also played poorly, we had too many injuries, and our receivers dropped some good passes too. But Sims definitely wasn't playing a good game.

Remember when I asked when A-Day Sims would make an appearance? He is alive and well.

I still think he should be our qb longterm, but if he is injured (big IF) then we need to play someone else until he is healthy.

If he is injured he shouldn't play. I don't know what is so controversial about that.

Meh. I've said all year that if he's our qb we will lose come from behind games against SEC teams. Once Ole Miss took the lead I knew this game was over. That doesn't mean he's not our best QB. Just means we have a bad situation to overcome.

He overthrew Howard in the end zone and Howard didn't catch it even though he should have. Ballgame. They both made a poor play.

Sims also single-handidly took us out of chip-shot field goal range once to set up a 51 yard prayer. The other miss is on the kicker but that one is on Sims. On another drive he threw behind a wide open receiver on a crossing route to lose an easy third down conversion. Many many mistakes on our qb tonight.

I think the backup center played fine. Sims had all the time he needed all game.

Probably because Sims, even Injured, gave Bama the best chance of winning today?

Can't place any blame on Sims imo. Losing Drake and Kelly was huge + the fumble on the KO return was a killer.

He wasn't injured.

You are literally the only person in the world repeating this stuff and it is false and untrue.

If he didn't play Coker would have had us get beat by 20.

I'm sure he would have. While we are throwing shite out there, do you have the lotto numbers?

Maybe. A loss is a loss though. If this season is going to be a bust I'd rather play the qb we will still have on the roster next season.

Lol, in your world Coker would win every game 100-0 huh?

Dude has literally done nothing to prove his hype to you but the second we don't win you are already shite stirring talking about injuries.

There it goes. Didn't take long!

We literally have the worst fans. First the idiots who jynx us before big matches then the guys who always know better because "this kid needs to be used more" or "this kid on the bench is far better".

The true irony is if OJ was as dedicated as the people who were begging for him to get passes the past weeks we'd have won the game on that deep ball.

Slow down cowboy. Every one of his snaps was low.

I don't think he's playing better. I just think we can't win a championship playing like this so it would be better to get experience for next year's players.

Maybe they'll turn it around but I really don't think we've played well at all this season. Florida showed us today that they aren't a good team.

I'll give you that, but he didn't give up any sacks and none of those low snaps seemed to affect the play.

Maybe he could have stretched the field more than Sims tonight. Sims looked off while having all day to throw. Was that him folding under pressure or was it an injury? All I know is his deep ball floated too much, he threw at the feet in critical situations. Maybe you're right and it has nothing to do with injury and everything to do with folding. I'm not sure which narrative you prefer.

To be fair, AJ folded against Miss St. last year. Thankfully they didn't have an offense or we would be in trouble. It happens.

Ole Miss probably has the best defense in the country and is one of the best teams and we were playing in their house.

We had a horrendous fumble, dropped passes and many penalties, yet still were driving to WIN the game and that is the conclusion you came up with?

We were gifted a touchdown by the refs. That is completely indisputable. Don't fool yourself into thinking our offense played well. We should have lost by 13.
