Assuming he is gone at UGA today?

I don't know the background with him. Did he burn his bridge here???

PS-I don't know what he did at UGA either

Wait.... I don't know ANYTHING. Oh well.

I have no idea why, but I don't like him. He comes off as a flakey douche bag to me.

I'm on the fence about re-hiring him. He seems to jump from job to job at the drop of the hat.

Not really. Left Bama for a promotion to DC at FSU. Left FSU to be DC at UGA. His story was this put him back in the SEC and with a great opportunity to win. That is true, but so too is the fact that he had fooled around with a football office intern at FSU and there was concern about that. He left in large part bc of what happened in Tallahassee.

When he leaves UGA at end of season (and he absolutely will) it will not be because he isn't a good coach, rather b/c he isn't a good fit for a staff led by Richt. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at Bama if Kirby leaves, or at Clemson if Venables gets a HC offer.

Hell no. The way he burnt his bridges when he left T Town. I wouldn't take the as* back if he crawled all the way from Gawja. Screw Pruitt.

No, he's overrated, and multiple UGA people including Fran Tarkenton and Dan Wolken are on record saying he's a staff cancer.

I don't think Kirby is going anywhere. Why would Pruitt take a step down in position? I can't see that being a good idea under any circumstances.

If he doesn't, then he has to have gotten assurances that he is HCIW. I see him at VT or USCe come next fall.

he is a hot head and you saw that in the Hoover show while Rush was the HC. Some of these guys who think they are on the fast track are not happy being an injun when the chief is not strong willed like NS.

CNS rehired Lance Thompson after he supposedly blew up the bridge. I do recall Pruitt thanking CNS for the coaching opportunity he was given. I wouldn't be surprised if he was hired if CKS leaves.

Wasn't he also fired again.

IMHO wining without dignity is not really winning. So, I'd prefer not to see Pruitt on our sidelines ever again.

he was not fired either time and went to UT for the promotion to HC. I do think he had outstayed his welcome. NS has not fired anyone while at Bama, but i think they have a sit down encouraging them to consider alternatives. But a guy that gets promoted was probably not pushed out the door. Kevin Steele is doing a great job at whoville

Are we still talking about Lance Thompson? He left for a lateral position at UT, not a promotion, certainly not to HC. That was Sal Sunseri that left for a higher position at UT (DC).
