There is no stadium and a lot of the campus without Denny. IMHO, his name is the last one that should ever come off.

I'd be totally cool with BDS. Bryant Denny Saban sounds totally fine to me.

Bigger question is what street are they going to rename after Saban?

It's got to be 15th Street, right?

Denny is basically ancient history, who today really cares about the guy?

Saban put Alabama football back on the map.

I'm fine with calling it Saban Stadium, they can take Bryant off for all I care.

I think it should be “Saban Bryant Denny Stadium”. Keeping in line with adding Saban’s name first just like they did with Bryant’s name before Denny.

The smarter move would probably be Amazon stadium, or The Mercedes Benz Saban Bryant Denny stadium, or whatever. I’m for selling the naming rights to whoever gives us the most money that we can use for NIL.

We're just going to name it DeBoer Stadium in a few years anyway.

There's already a statue of him.

Stallings, Thomas, Wade, and Bryant all have statues and all have something named after them on campus. Stallings and Wade have streets; Thomas has the baseball stadium named after him; and Bryant has the stadium and the street named for him.

It's tradition to honor our legendary coaches with something more than just a statue.

Is 1987 your birthdate? That would explain a lot.

There's a shite ton of tradition and winning before 1987.

“I think it should be “Saban Bryant Denny Stadium”.

The initials could provide some interesting marketing opportunities.

Leave the stadium name alone. It’s not that damn important. Saban has a statue and untold millions.

What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are that anyone who actually thinks that Nick Saban would support replacing George Denny's name on the stadium with his own is a fricking idiot.

I mean, seriously. The class act that is Nick Saban, actually going along with this?

Are you people really that fricking stupid?

Yes. Replace Denny with Saban. No brainer. Chimes are plenty for Denny and Bryant and Saban more appropriate for the field of competition.

I have a ton of respect for George Denny. There would be no Alabama Football without him. He built the foundation of our tradition.

That said, I’d like to think he’d understand taking his name off the stadium so we can rename it after the two best coaches of all time. Denny Field at Bryant-Saban Stadium.

Well, we also named a street after a coach who only finished higher than 3rd in the SEC once in his 8 years. And a campus building named for an unimaginably bad one term governor. We don't exactly have the highest bar for tossing around naming honors.

We'd better get Saban's name on 15th St before Robert Bentley dies and some morons get his name on there.

This is where we are headed, might as well be a leader here too and go for a big sponsor to name the field after.
