Saban might hit 100 victories this season

He currently has a record of 92-17 as a head coach here at Alabama. Eight more wins and he becomes only the third Tide head coach to reach the 100-win club (Bryant and Thomas are the other two).

What's stunning to me is that of the 17 losses suffered under Saban, the sum total of those losses is 120 points, averaging 1 TD per loss.
Which is less than Auburn's sum total of 129 points in just 5 losses to the Tide during Saban's tenure here.

Interesting that Thomas is up there when Wade was actually the better coach. Administration made a mistake with Wade's contract and he went to Duke

Technically he is at 87 wins, with the five vacated games from 2007. Which I honestly wish we could get back, since vacated wins are pointless and the NCAA just gave Penn State back over 100 of them.

Bama will get the 30 wins back that the NCAA forced them to vacate from 05-07 and the forfeited wins from the 93 season when the power 5 conferences break away from the NCAA.

That shite pisses me off. Alabama should be passing Notre Dame this year for #2 in wins. And be first in winning percentage.

Vacating wins is stupid. The results happened on the field. You can't just wipe it away. Plus it's not an effective deterrent for cheating. Teams aren't going to stop breaking the rules because they got a few wins taken away from them.

What's worse are the bullshite forfeits, where the other team gets a win they didn't earn. Then the NCAA overturned JoePa's vacated wins when he knowingly sheltered a pedophile, but Bama can't get back wins from when Langham signed with an agent.
