Coopers first big game was against Ole Miss when he literally snagged an INT from an Ole Miss defender for a TD. McCarron kinda lobbed it up and made Coop work for it.

Ridley had one similar against Wisconsin- except not for a TD.

We're fortunate he stepped up when Foster went down. Foster looked like he was set to have a big year and unfortunately got lost for the year.

Foster and Ridley next season should be ridiculous... I know Rob has got to be having mixed emotions watching his former understudy taking the torch and nuking SEC DBs with it. I know he loves it for Calvin though.

Rob seemed to have a bit of a chip this year (in a good/hungry kind of way) so I expect him to come back in full-on beast mode.

ArDarius has also picked up his play off the ball, so maybe he is Christion Jones 2.0. I love the fact that our receivers are team guys.

Both could go for 1k next year if given enough good looks.

I believe Ridley is faster

Cooper ran a sub 4.4 at the combine. I'm not sure Ridley is faster. He might be close, but Cooper is deceptively fast. Dude is a blazer.

and could possibly have better hands

Push at best. Cooper had one drop his entire FR season. Ridley has already had more than that.

I say push on the hands too because Coop had McCarron throwing to him while Ridley has to catch balls at 95mph

I'm just happy this comparison is valid. And it's really close.

No. You can't compare the two - different circumstances entirely. And, Ridley would not even be starting if not for the injury to Foster.

Cooper wouldn't have started without the injury to White. Ridley is a fantastic WR already, and we have him for at least 2 more years.

Nooooo.

He's just getting a chance much earlier in the season. Coop really didn't get much playing time as a frosh until about the 6th or 7th game.
