So both him and marvin stone were top 10? That's amazing.

Marvin Stone. Im from Florence and there was a prominent player from here that was recruited to play basketball at Grissom High School when Marvin(Tree) played there. I visited him several times and they had a "money" guy that they would call and meet up with, that would give them several hundred dollars a piece so that we could have a good time. We would go by a big bag of weed. Good times.

Just realized I had Hendrix confused with Erwin Dudley. Wonder what Dudley rating was in hs, that dude is def. A legend.

Was the guy also associated with an AAU team, have players living in his house sometimes, and have a son that played for an SEC school before a weird falling out?

Everyone here knew who you were talking about. I'm from Huntsville and as soon you said a player in grissom team with Marvin, I knew who you were talking about.

I was actually just responding to the guy talking about Marvin. Obviously it wasn’t much of a secret, but Mark wasn’t a bad guy and I try not to publicly out people in those kind of circumstances if I can help it.

I grew up in the area and graduated from Grissom in ‘07, so I can say at the very least, this much is true.
