They really put a lot of effort into staying in denial. The fact that we had 3 national championships in 4 years wasn't enough for them to mentally accept that another Bama dynasty was in progress. Now it's fun to see such demoralized posts.

Most of you got here after the 2009 season, but back when I joined in 2008 the rallying cry for the Rant towards Alabama fans was "No hardware."

I used to occasionally lurk around then. Though I might've still been on Bama mag, posting as AuSociologyMajor. That made for great confusion from Bama and Auburn fans.

It was maddening the entire offseason after the Sugar Bowl loss to Utah, but that 2009 team made it all worthwhile. We got all the hardware that year.

There used to be a LSU fan that posted "no hardware" in every Alabama related thread. He hasn't been seen since the 2009 season.

Thanks, I was just a young lad that hadn't escaped Florida yet. I thought it was equally hilarious when Bama fans didn't get the joke, or when Auburn fans did get it. I think I finally left and started giving Lucky money after the back and forth between auburn fans became most of the board's posts.
Most people probably know me as Ashevillain from BamaOnline. But I can't even make a joke over there without people getting upset or sending me messages crying about it (I have a couple particularly crazy ones from Abrell.) I was using that name here, but I made a very inappropriate joke, and deservedly got banned. But I love Mississippi John Hurt, haven't lived in Asheville in 8 years, so I'm fine with this name.

She's legitimately unstable. I just felt bad for her after she sent me those gambling messages.

Even after 2009, LSU fans still harped on hardware but it changed to "talk to us when you have TWO crystal footballs".
And Bama fans would remind them we got a crystal football in 1992.
That stopped when we broke them on 1/9.
We need start telling the rantards to check back in after their team just makes the playoff, much less won one.
