We’re almost unanimous in our desire to see a change at QB. Feel free to voice your frustration as much and as creatively as you’d like, but please don’t attack Jalen personally. Keep your criticism focused on his performance and not him.

He’s a great kid, a fierce competitor, and he wants Bama to win. It’s just unfortunate that he doesn’t have the tools to make it happen at this point.

It’s nothing personal, he just sucks.

He's a great QB playing under the wrong offensive scheme.

I think I heard Georgia Tech's OC crying all the way from Atlanta tonight.

I'm not going to make any personal attacks at any player giving it his all.

I WILL make a personal attack against a chicken-shite head coach who makes 7 something million a year b/c he is scared to try something different.

If he keeps Jalen at QB in the 2nd half, he is just saying he has no confidence at all and is willing to lose without trying everything.

Hurts has shown nothing to say he’s a great QB

Under a Triple Option offense he would be a god.

We’re never running a triple option offense. Hurts is a way bigger problem than Daboll.

What part of "we're running the wrong offensive scheme for hurts" are you not comprehending?

Hurts is a wrong fit for a pro-style offense. He's a great fit for a wishbone or triple option.

I like him personally.

We have more than enough talent in the receiving core to be in the ball game. He just isnt making the cut.

I've said since mid-year 2016 that Jalen isn't the QB we need. He just doesn't have it. I was down-voted to oblivion, and called names for awhile. However, after awhile it's like beating a dead horse.

It's not needed anymore. Some folks need to realize that. Repetitive topics should be be auto banned. IMO

We jus took don't run the appropriate offense for Jalen. It's not his fault. It's a miracle we have won all of the games that we have

He is 100% class. Think about what it says about his character that he was benched midway through the title game, and all he did was support his teammates. Not only did he not pout, he actively celebrated and encouraged them.

Like most, I've been critical of his play. Probably more vocally than some. But his character is above reproach. His mentality is exactly what you want.

Saban will do his best to take care of Hurts if Hurts stays. But, Hurts will either be the backup or he's switching to another position if he's at Bama next season.

I wanted Tua to go in as much as anyone... because the playcalling stunk when Hurts was in.

People will say that the plays were called due to Jalen's lack of skill. Even if there is truth to that, I think the playcalling was setting Hurts of for failure to begin with. It was like giving a baseball player a little stick, and telling him to go hit an MLB pitcher. It will snap in half even if the hitter makes solid contact. At least give him a swinging chance with a real bat. Let him succeed or fail based on his own capability.

Yeah, conservative playcalling for Hurts can be justified in the first quarter. But after your offense is getting dominated for 15 minutes, open up the playbook! If that doesn't work, then put your passer backup in.

So personally, I think Hurts got swindled, and I feel bad for him in the sense that he didn't get the opportunity to push his capabilities to try to win the game.

However, I'm so happy for Jalen, Tua, and the whole team for the win! Tua's the real deal!!! :-D

Also, while many may say Tua is a better QB, I'll say that he is definitely the better passer, and he may be the most talented overall. However, Hurts is also very talented in his own right. They are different types built for different styles. Passing is what was needed tonight. Georgia took away the run. But running and management was needed to get us to tonight. You use different tools and weapons in different situations. Tua was needed tonight. Jalen was needed until tonight. It's a team championship!

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

I blame it on the coaching staff as much as Jalen himself. They aren’t giving him packages that fit his unique talents.

They want him to be a pro set QB and he’s just not built to do that.

BTW, Jalen was VERY gracious after the game. A true picture of class.
