Yeah, raise your hand if saw that coming two months ago.

And if Bama wins out and wins the national championship, behind a transformed Jalen Milroe and a retooled offense, he absolutely will deserve it. No assistant coach in the country will have done a better coaching job with his unit from the beginning of the season to the end.

From an improvement standpoint since halftime against Tennessee? He’s been lights out, tons of credit to him for running what might be the most efficient offense in the country from that point.

Again, I’m just asking why we didn’t have a designed run/RPO chapter in the playbook week 2 for Texas?

I would assume bc Milroe was trying to get the basics down … practice is one thing but he was not in the flow of the game early on at all

The touchdowns were there in the Texas game, and other games, plenty of them, we just didn't execute, which is what they needed Milroe, and our Oline to be able to do before we could become a serious contender.

The basics of a QB bootleg or one read RPO?

On a complexity standpoint that’s early middle school compared to high P5 downfield reads and route concepts.

It’s like telling a math student to start with calculus and work their way backwards to subtraction.

Forcing him to lean on the downfield passing makes sense against MTSU and Miss State, not so much against Texas and A&M.
