Are you shitting me? Why would he lay out up 28 pts and risk injury? The game was well in hand by that point.

If you have to lay out for a ball, it's a overthrow on the QB. If a WR has to make an amazing grab and retain it while hitting the ground to make a catch, I don't think that's on him.
The incompletion in the 2nd was an overthrow, it was suppose to hit Cooper in stride. The incompletion in the 4th Cooper DID dive for it, but could only get a hand on it going down to the turf of the endzone. Both of those incompletions were also with at least a 3 TD lead.

The only time I questioned Coop was the 1st pass of the A&M game. AJ should have hit him in stride but had Coop laid out it would have been a 1st down. It was way too early and he may have missed it anyway. AJ was not sharp early in the A&M game either.
The whole point of this thread is the best team lost that day and I'm pumped to see what we do when we show up motivated this year.

We waited way too long to lean on our running game and our OL. You beat A&M by keeping Manziel off the field and keeping our D fresh. It took us nearly two quarters to realize that last year and then we came out in the third quarter and thought we could go back to the air again. It was Nuss' worst game of the year by far.
