I get your concern.. however..
In Scoring offense.. we lead the conference. Ole Miss and Arkansas have a higher scoring offense than Tennessee.
9 other teams have a better scoring defense in the conference than Tennessee does.
They are 7th in total offense, that's after a 700 yd game against the Ags.
They are 10th in total defense.
They get more penalties than we do. That's a damn lot.
They've only made 9 sacks on the year, compared to 24 for us.
They're 8th in forcing fumbles, we're 1st.
We're 2nd in conference on 3rd down conversion, they're 7th.
They have played weaker teams, and honestly.. I was worried about both them and the Aggies. But after seeing them play.. I think we win both easily. They're not as impressive as I let myself believe.

I really wanted this to be a top 5 game but oh well. That defense is depledted and if Jalen can stay calm and focus ( he is clearly able to do both on the road which is wonderful) then we'll be alright.
As usual the defense shows out and maybe (probably) score yet another TD.

I mean we're only 7-1 following a regular season loss since 2008. The one loss was to Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl.

I don't want Lane to give away drives in the first quarter with the jet sweep/perimeter stuff. Just go right at them. We can set the wide stuff up by hammering their middle.
