Y'all overreact like nothing I've ever seen.

Two games he has no catches, and he should transfer? There's clearly a reason to it.

And besides, transferring wouldn't do him any good. If he wanted to play somewhere that mattered, he'd have to sit out a year. And he's not gonna stay in college for 4 years, he's got too much talent.

OJ will get the ball soon, and he'll get it a lot. Let the damn season play out.

Hopefully when we open the play book to more than screens.
This. I think they have some big plays planned for OJ. This way there is not much film.

2 games in and he has zero catches ... 1 ball has been thrown his way ... why would any 5* te commit to alabama today? ... he's a weapon ... you use your weapons, even if they're not needed ... currently, 1 year at tamu would do him a helluva lot more than 2 more at alabama ...

Yep.

And he'd never sniff a title.

We've got one of the best TEs in HS currently committed. Hale Hentges. I think we'll be fine. Like I've said before, there is clearly a reason for it. It isn't like we just forgot about him.

A title? Dude can be a stud in the pros. Sure people like getting national titles and all that but he's playing for a career and not getting to show off his skills at all.

We are two games into the season. Calm down.

He'll be a stud in the pros either way.

I think he gets anywhere from 30-45 catches this season. Depends on different variables.

Just calm down. He's clearly been ignored by design at this point.

He was underutilized last season as well. Let's not act like this is his first year with the team.

He had some very big plays in big games as a true freshman.

Different OC who just got embarrassed and shutout on national TV + OJ was a Freshman + Coop/Norwood/White/Jones all had 30+ catches.

So? 3 of those catches just off the top of my head were in big moments in big games.

It looks like he got one catch against LSU and took it for 52 of his 269 yards (on the season). Other than that it doesn't look like he was used in any other "big" games except for Auburn. He did get 2 catches against Auburn for 23 yards. With that kind of production it's a wonder he didn't get the ball more in that game.

I guess that would make your 3 catches comment accurate. I don't remember exactly when those plays happened.

ETA: My mistake. He got 3 catches against Texas A&M.
