Some idiots at work are saying they would shut down our 2020 team.

How would this game go? Score?

2023 Michigan doesn’t get past 2020 Ohio St, so very badly for Michigan.

I think Mac and Co. would have shredded them.
You didn’t see many mistakes on that team. Everyone seemed focused.
Michigan probably wouldn’t have scored.
35-0 Bama, Conservative estimate.

This Michigan team was very solid, but they would have no chance against 2020 Bama. I mean, they essentially tied 2023 Bama and we all agree 2020 Bama would boat race 2023, right?

UM would not score. It would be a shutout. Bama would probably drop 35-45 on them. They would be embarrassed in classic UM fashion.

Let's remember that this year was supposed to be a rebuilding year, and we were a few plays away from another National Title game appearance.

Um would score but that Bama offense was just so good. It had ball control, it had big play, it had consistency. It was the personification of one story about how the "Tide" portion of "Crimson Tide" came about... They just rolled down the field, relentlessly. 35-10 Bama. 44 against UW

That 2020 Bama offense was unstoppable. It had a elite OL, receivers, RB, QB and offensive coordinator.

No defense can stop a elite offense, only slow them down.

38-13 2020 Bama.

Washington was a lite lite LITE version of our offense and Michigan did a real good job on them. Gimme a 37-20 kinda score

Did they not just see our 2023 team take Michigan to OT? What more proof do you need?

Bama's 2020 team would ragdoll this Michigan group. It would be an absolute beatdown.

I think 2021 team healthy and even last year's team would win as well.

Last year's team struggling on the road was a product of Bryce coming back from injury mostly. And we played two really good teams on the road. Michigan doesn't play anyone close to the caliber of last year's Tenn or LSU team on the road.

We saw Bama at it's full potential vs Kansas State. That Bama team would beat this Michigan team.

This year's team took UM to OT...the 2020 team was much better so I don't see it...with the offensive talent we had (the top QB, RB, WR, OT, C, and OL (as a group) in the nation), not to mention the top CB, and with Sark calling plays, I just don't think it's close...

The 2020 team is still the highest ranked team in history according to SP+, FPI, and Brad Powers Power ratings (as far as they go back)...we're also the top rated modern team (post-70's) in the SRS rankings as well...

Seems unnecessary

Never mind

Even if they could win, suggesting anything close to "shutting us down" is preposterous.

Michigan would’ve scored because Golding

Michigan 2023 is like Bama 2011 but with worse talent at every position.
