No the Chancellor was 100% behind Coach but the money raised 20 types of hell and left him with no choice. Herman to be announced by Monday at latest.

LSU botched this hire. Someone on the rant said Herman or bust which seemed pretty accurate.
And when doing coaching hires that's the most terrible way to go about things..I'm sure there were more guys genuinely interested in the job who were more qualified than a lineman coach who was told to gtfo Ole Miss. I'd be pissed if I was them.
