Bulovas has always had a spot. Don't know what the numbers look like for the 85 player cap, but I'm guessing Bama needed some players to transfer to get the 26 signees from the 17 class and the 2 blueshirts in for fall camp.

Expect more transfers this summer.

That's the one position I don't want anyone transferring from though.

OJ wasn't going to get many snaps this year with Payne, Frazier and Mathis all playing that NG/DT role.

We may need to shed another guy or two to get all this class in. Really would like to see Parks get a spot. That kid's loyalty should be rewarded.

my maths say that after Smith, there is still a need for one additional transfer. at 86, but as ZZ says, I could be mistaken

I was told by an insider on the scout board to expect Jarez Parks to be there this fall. I am skeptical but he insisted that his info was solid.

Dang. We're razor thin with only 10 DL on scholarship, and we're losing Hand, Frazier, King, and likely Payne after this seasons. We really need to hit the '18 DL class out of the park. It boggles my mind that the top DL recruits aren't jumping at the chance to play for this type of program, let alone the chance for early PT. They should be lining up.

It will be a large DL class. Three from Alabama alone.

My problem is they aren't the highest quality which we have become accustomed to the past four years.

I still can't believe Andrew Brown and some other five stars turned down a chance to basically come in and start for Alabama.
