Sorry for not buying into conspiracy theories.
I'm not into conspiracy theories myself, but Matt Austin's crew is generally the best in the conference. They really sucked it up last night. I'm all for letting them play, but you have to call something that is so blatant a TV viewer looks away from the ball carrier to point at the OL on the screen doing the holding.
They also missed quite a few holds on Waddle, Jeudy, and Smith when they were running out for passes.

In fairness, he probably thought he had just gotten a sack because the stadium was so loud he couldn't hear the whistles stopping the play. What pissed me off was the reaction to the play by the fans in the stadium. While he was still on the ground, obviously in pain, they were all cheering their heads off. That's disgusting behavior and there is no place for it in the college game.

I’ve never witnessed anything like that before. It was one of the most classless displays I’ve ever seen from a fanbase.

The pass interference they called against us on the LSU sideline was incredibly uncatchable. I was surprised that didn't get questioned.

Not only that, it wasn’t pass interference. That’s was the most made up bunch of mess I’ve seen in a while. It was like the officials were looking to put an end to 10 years of LSU conspiracies.

If I’m not mistaken, LSU was flagged for 3 penalties of the “prior to the snap” variety. So that means they played a perfect game physically, if not mentally, according to the refs. That’s just crap.

I get we didnt get a single hold call, but the problem is this is an every game issue. A holding call with our def is pretty much a drive killer.

I’d you don’t think they overturned the targeting on Delpit as a PR move, and not because it was the correct call, you’re kidding yourself. That was pretty obvious targeting. I don’t like the ejection aspect so I don’t really care but they were appeasing a fan base there.
And I try to look at things unbiased, and we got mugged repeatedly by their OL last night. Blatant stuff. I’m aure we got away with some also but not nearly as blatant as many that their OL did.

I guess if you bitch enough the refs will just “let em play”. I never want to hear about Bama bias again. There were more than just these plays. #alabamavslsu #alabamafootball #Freeholdingcalls

From the end of last season from Mgoblog:
That is us up there in the corner by ourselves.
I'm normally one who just puts up with it, but last night was the most egregious stuff I've ever seen go consistently unpunished.

Michigan – we’re getting screwed, right?
I’m going to go with a yes. As it turns out, Michigan and Alabama are in a special kind of unlucky streak, stretching for many years. The below is a graph of all FBS teams 2012- present (B1G teams are represented by their logos) for all games played. Michigan is towards the top right – in the “we’re getting screwed” category. The only team that has fared worse is Alabama. A lot worse. Since 2012, Alabama has drawn a holding once every 260 plays. That is nearly 2.5 times the averag

Anyone that thought the officiating would not be affected by the lsu crowd was living in fantasy land.
