William Inge is now the favorite for the LB/ST role apparently

Hell. I was here when we couldn't win a bowl game under Bryant. And when we couldn't complete a damn pass on homecoming under Curry (the infamous brick through the window game).

Jeez, I was at the ball game you are talking about. Vince Sutton. Zero completed passes for the game.
I think Pierre Goode returned the second half kickoff for a touchdown and that was basically our only offense.

The only highlight was a massive brawl that broke out in the student section at half and continued on into the third quarter.
Worst part was I lived in Oxford at that time and had to go back and listen to their fans about how they had just won the fricking super bowl

17 years of stability

Yeah, someone pointed out that kids have been born and received their driver licenses in the time that Saban was there.

There is essentially a whole generation of fans (across college football) that have never experienced an Alabama team like this.

Those of us who have knew we'd eventually get back to this point someday.

Thing is, what they probably don't realize is we may be different now — but we ain't done.

It was a team failure. OL couldn't block. If the QB ever had time to throw the passes were inaccurate. If the stars aligned and a good pass was thrown, it was dropped by the WR.

This is the one hire if it comes to be that would make me nervous. Really want some elite LB coaching and recruiting.

Well it appears that Kalen wasn't sold on Bala as Nick was.

Question is whick coach was correct. Did Nick take Bala because he couldn't hire anybody better?

Inge coached Cooper at Indiana.

If one begets the other, It'd be a hell of a snag to land Cooper.

Not huge into golf, baseball or any other sport but I have an unhealthy obsession with Bama football and basketball.

Bama bball helped us stay grounded when we were mid but now it might be the other way around for the time being.

No offense, but I don’t understand this. I’m not a huge softball or baseball fan even though I follow them loosely, and I’ve never been to a Bama gymnastics meet. I’ve been to Bama football, baseball, softball, basketball, track and cross country competitions live. When I’m not watching on TV I keep up with those sports in their season.

What I am is an ALABAMA ATHLETICS fan. I want us to win in everything we do.

Same here. Want the school to win in every athletic endeavor or otherwise. Will not watch anything other than Football and Men’s Basketball. Have watched some Softball and Gymnastics lately.

This all day long. I grew up going to basketball camp at Alabama. My first year was Hobbs first year. Those coaches were the coaches in my formative years. This ain’t shite.

This is me right now…

I wonder if we are waiting on some pro coaches to fill the remaining members of the staff?
