From an anti-trust perspective it's far different for a conference to put limits on intra-conference transfers with restriction on playing time than it is for a whole sport to do so. When the NCAA does it, the kid is essentially prohibited from playing the sport. If a conference does it, the kid still has over 100 other schools he can transfer to and play.

Did Dalcourt give us the best chance to win last year, or were we better when we finally switched to Roberts ?

Were we better with KoolAid not fielding punts, or with Downs actually catching the punts ?

This fanbase has been watching the best players ride pine for years, dude.

Did you see Jam and Justice today ? They sat behind Roy and Jase last year the two most boring RB's in the history of Alabama football.

Simpson has an elite release. Those sidearm throws to get the ball to the flat were beautiful, and he has better pocket awareness and footwork in the pocket than milroe. I actually think Simpson KNOWING when it's time to run probably makes him the bigger threat as a runner. Milroe never figures out to run until it's a second or two too late. .

Any reason Haynes only got 3 carries during the scrimmage?

I would once again like to introduce the Jalen Milroe passing chart against Michigan

LINK

Ty Simpson doesn’t have a chart as horrendous as that, and that’s why I think this is another Tua/Jalen situation where the incumbent needs to be unseated for the better option

I need to transfer? Why? Because I spoke the truth on the situation we have or was it because I mentioned Auburn as a destination for him?

I want Ty Simpson in the best situation for him. If it's here then cool. If they aren't going to give him the opportunity to unseat Milroe then why try to hinder him from creating value for himself?

I heard Ty Simpson had been the best all spring and yesterday just confirmed what was said which was it's just clicking for him now.

Why get so upset and bent out of shape if Ty Simpson is only QB2?

I'm not for holding a player HOSTAGE when he's better than the guy in front of him.

What teams need a quarterback? Ain't Auburn one of em?

I applaud his loyalty to Bama but we must realize that he's ready RIGHT NOW!

Real Talk!

There were too many, but what count as bad snaps yesterday would've gone on McLaughlin's highlight reel. Also they will not be playing on completely dead grass like that again this season. That might have had some effect.

Odom looks the part but I didn't see much production when I was in the stadium yesterday.

Any stats out there?

Those stats aren't accurate.

Hard to get any kind of grasp on where we truly are after that type of scrimmage. Even Debo admitted the defense was playing with a collar on. When they did hit, they played with some pop. I'm so sick of "thud" tackling, I could scream. Let hope we're getting back to driving their arse in the dirt.

We have at least 4 RBs that could start anywhere in the country. We loaded there.

Bernard is already big show material. Loved what I saw from Odom and Adams.

Still some problems snapping the ball. This is elementary shite you learn when you're 8 I don't know why we can't figure it out.

You guys orgasming over Simpson's sidearm release are forgetting that in the SEC that'll get you a shite ton of batted balls. And he's still slow to commit to the pass. He missed several potential completions because he again waited a second too long to throw it allowing the DB to recover.

Milroe struggled and he'll be the first to admit that but we know he's going to work his arse off to fix it. You guys are forgetting that in the last third of the season he was a legit heisman candidate. Chill the F out.

It was a scrimmage, and it looked like one.

LOL

It's almost like you had some preconceived notions and you're trying hold those up.

What IF the people who said Milroe has talent but has a long way to go with running the offense had a point all along? And what IF, like many of those people also said, Simpson is also a very talented former 5 star, who could possibly beat Milroe out, if he learns the offense better?

So Milroe is going to work his arse off to get better and Simpson is not? It’s ok to root for both of them.

Gonna be a long summer for the fanboys propping up their favorite.

Bro, he only did that when he had someone in his face, and going sidearm was the only way to get the ball out around the defender to the flat.

You know like Mahomes, Rodgers, etc. - a natural feel for the game. Something Milroe absolutely does not possess.

Milroe will not survive this year's schedule. Michigan provided the blueprint. By the time enough people support a change it'll likely be too late. It's not as if Simpson is going to be brimming with confidence thrown into the fire mid-season against murderers row. Too much wasted time, snaps, and pats on the arse.

Did Milroe actually complete the least amount of passes of all QBs in the spring game ? And one of those was an offensive pass interference because the ball was underthrown and another was his usual "deep ball" thrown up for grabs.

this is the dumbest shite anyone has ever posted. I hope we get all the best players in college football and they all ride the bench, and the barn gets none. What the frick is wrong with you? I want the backup QB to be good and stay here, not go to our little sister.
