I really like the Jacobs kid. He is explosive and I love his pad level when running with the ball.
BJ and Bo looked ok....Bo seemed to run like he was not sure of himself at times. Harris had a great game and much improved from last year however I find myself being more impressed by Jacobs.

Jacobs has an extremely quick burst. I believe that Jacobs and Emmons are going to have very good careers as long as they can stay healthy.

I think these two are gonna provide depth this year but fall off next year when Najee gets here. Assuming no injuries.

None of them really stood out to me. The two long runs Harris had were impressive in how he trusted his blocks and read the right hole. Otherwise, he was pretty pedestrian. Bo still hasn't impressed me. He's bigand strong, but doesn't seem to have the vision, nor trusts his blocking yet. I liked what little I saw of Emmons and Jacobs, and think both have a promising future. Jacobs definitely has some moves and speed.

Harris reminded me of Ingram
Thought Bo would've done more
Emmons runs HARD
Jacobs will be a fan favorite

I've never understood this line of thinking.

Harris looked fine, Scarbrough continued to underwhelm. I don't really remember Jacobs doing anything particularly noteworthy.

Harris' feet were amazing. The way he moved laterally while moving forward and the quickness in which he did it was just awesome. His feet and balance and the way he readies his body to take a hit is exactly like Ingram.

I think Bo looked just fine. Even on the runs where all he was doing was moving the pile, he still looked to have quick twitch moves. That's really all I care about with him right now. How quick can he be. The holes will open up, and from the looks of it, he'll frick teams up when they do.

Jacobs...damn that dude is quick. And runs aggressively. Aggressive and quick...what's not to like? Dude will be a beast before he leaves.

BJ has looked good. Haven't seen enough of him to go full gump, though.

The RBs look great.

ETA: Woah guys. Harris looked amazing...

Harris looked like he was made to run with a read/option QB like Hurts. Bo looks to be more made for a BB8 downhill system but I still am giddy to have him and think he can grow into that system if Hurts wins the job,

I think both freshman have Drake like complimentary potential (hopefully minus the injuries) to Ninja in coming years (and that fricker was drafted in the 3rd round with multiple injuries).

Harris looked good. Jacobs and Emmons looked ok. Bo will be better suited for the Jalston Fowler role. As I've said all along, Bo isn't anywhere near a Derrick Henry talent.

The way some of you are talking about Bo reminds of how some talked about Damien Harris last year. Be patient for Christ's sake.

I personally think that this year is as good a year as ever to do a running back by committee rotation. It's very possible we don't have a single back eclipse the 1,000-yard mark due to the fact that we will possibly utilize all four of the backs we saw on Saturday night rather equally.

This is wayyyyy off, imo. Bo is an exceptional talent. You'll see.

**not saying that Fowler isn't an exceptional talent, but in terms of RB talent, he is just a completely different player than Bo, imo. ****

I agree with you Funky. When Bo breaks off a 60 yard TD run, I will laugh at the naysayers. Harris and BoScar is going to be a killer combo.

Well, just to be clear here, Jalston Fowler did break off a 60+ yard TD run once

I thought Harris showed some great potential, and vision. Bo didn't have much chance with the blocking he had, I thought. Once the line gels more and they are more comfortable in the amount of playing time they are getting, I expect its going to be an explosive and punishing run game.

I've been hearing this since before he arrived on campus. He needs to show me something on the field before I buy the hype.

They ALL needed a huge dose of confidence and Harris seemed to get that.

Bo will be fine, just trust the scheme and the OL needs to gel a bit more.

Jacobs and BJ both showed promise and will be fan favorites and will be better and better as they learn more of the offense.

Jacobs speed and shiftiness reminds me of Kenyan Drake. When our O-Line gets in sync, it will be a thing of beauty watching Bo and BJ pound opposing defenders into submission. Damien Harris is really good...his downfield vision stands-out as he follows the blocks well and then hits the hole.

I have to think we will eventually settle on two main guys back there. Can't see four guys getting consistent reps as the season moves along.
