Could you kindly STFU with your "Freshwater" bullshite. You've dropped it every other post for the last 2 days.

Honestly, the execution of the plays worries me more than the calls themselves from this game.

Bingo. Hard to establish any rhythm with blown blocking assignments, dropped passes, late throws, etc.

And the zone blocking concepts have to be the stupidest shite ever inflicted on modern football (scratch that: running the ball out of the shotgun formation).
what are you talking about? we have used zone blocking to some extent every year since saban has arrived. we used it a ton in 2012

To me, the line is by far the most distressing thing about this team

Maybe, but Henry doesn't seem to be hitting the hole quicky, and Coker's release is so. very. slow. Both of those things make a line look worse than it is. Combine that with teams stacking the box to stop the run until we prove we can pass (and catch), and the line, while not dominant, may actually be pretty serviceable.

Except for the missed assignments. Good lord RN killed us on those.

There are no holes to hit.

That's fair, but we've certainly had other RBs that can take a "not there" hole and bust through to the second level. If Henry were better able to do that, he'd run out of the stadium 5-6 times a game.

I agree that he is too big to scoot around piles quickly. That's why I said in another thread that Harris can really help us by being that guy.

I am actually very excited to see what kind of game plan the coaches draw up on Saturday. They know that we aren't going to move the ball well if we don't get creative. I look for them to cook up some ingenuity and blow some minds.

Gonna be doing a lot of this in celebration on Saturday:

Our line is nowhere near serviceable. We are barely getting the snap off before the oline is getting pushed back. And I don't care if Coker takes ten seconds to get the ball out, there is absolutely no excuse for a team like ULM to get pressure on our QB. Coker should be able to have time to call his girlfriend back there against such inferior competition.
Cam Rob has regressed this year, Kelly has been somewhat inconsistent, Dominick Jackson has been very meh. We used to be able to take three stars and make them play like 4/5*. Now we take 4/5* and make them look like 2*

That is a hyperbole if I've ever seen one.

I agree in theory, but that kind of shite has happened in the past against similar teams with incredible Bama Olines, et al Kent State 2011.
