how come folks don't like screen passes? Is it because they are easier than zipping the ball through traffic to a covered receiver?

Seems that it's a very effective way to pass the ball, but I understand if it's not all that flashy.

I have no problem with running screens, but that's exactly why they don't belong in highlight reels for QBs.

However, I do find it ridiculous that a QB can throw a simple screen, and be credited with an 80 yard TD pass. The WR did all the work.

Yeah, I've always thought that was dumb. Also, not as bad, but I think it's stupid that a sack counts against a team's rushing yardage.
