He's gained weight but it isn't bad weight. He was just skinny his whole career at Bama other than this yr, we are used to see him hovering around 205 now he's 220

That's all it is

I've been thinking New England would be a perfect fit. He's the type of WR Brady loves. And if they draft AJ to sit behind Brady, it'd be great if AJ took over in a few years and had Norwood there.

Man, the agenda of the analysts is crazy. Bortles played great against Temple and Louisville? We get it he has a strong arm, but lets not pretend he was playing anything but a Big Least schedule.

Yes that'd work also I'd get shite from my in-laws though they are all from Mass BIIIG NE fans

You thinking 2nd or 3rd for Hubbard? I'm wondering if any 4-3 teams see him as a DE

They don't have an agenda. They're just talking about what his good games were. No one has said he's a sure thing, he's a potential guy that the right coach would believe he could mold into a star. I'm not too high on Bortles, but I can see why some people are.

Also I think 2013 was the first year he didn't play with a rib protector. In 11/12 we were used to seeing him with one, last offseason he put on some weight and didn't wear one this year.

Bortles is this years Flacco

Might not be that good either but he is big strong and athletic, didn't see much deep accuracy though and his scheme was very simple that was what stood out to me when I watched film on him and his really weird motion

I don't like him nearly as much as the other 2 that'll be top 10 guys

Came in at 6'6" 257lbs. I don't see him as a 43 End really. He has a ways to go as a pass rusher, he has to develop some moves and he seems sluggish off the snap about 75% of the time. Mag has suggested him standing up as a 43 OLB being a better option that a 34, and I'll agree with that. He's got good upside there, he's a project and I do feel like he has work ethic issues. I'd say 4th round is where he should go, but I can see him going higher off of pure potential. Wanna see his workout though. He was always good against the run and in contain in most games, he can set the edge. He's really a difficult prospect to figure out. I wanna see how he moves in drills and what he runs.

They just said Bortles has the stage to himself, that is a textbook agenda. Creating their own narrative before a single ball is thrown.

Because right now he's the only one of the top three QBs on their current board that will throw. McCarron and the Eastern Illinois kid, Garopollo (spelling?) will be making some noise too.

It is all self fulfilling prophecy with these draft "experts". Bortles is top 3 just because they say he is, not the fact he played at a nothing school, accomplished nothing, and Maycock just mentioned his arm isn't even that strong for his size. Basically he is like someone said Flacco a pure creation of the Kiper's of the world.

I don't think he's athletic enough but you gotta think I'm a Tampa Bay fan with the greatest 4-3 OLB in the history of the game (just elected to the HOF) and one of the best playing for TB now with Lavonte David. I think he could be a great 4-3 DE and the most interesting thing though is film from last yr is TOTALLY different he was asked to rush the passer a lot more than playing some coverage like this yr.

I'd really like Tampa to take a chance at him if he slips to the top of the 4th I think he could be a great DE, last yr where he was rushing more he was a lot more effective and Leslie Frazier loved his converted OLB's to DEs at Minnesota

Just my opinion, but you are right he is still really raw

I think he could be a 43 DE, I just think it may stunt his development a little bit.

Stinson/Pagan are guys I really want to see. Surprised at Pagan weighing 310, but I'm really high on those two. If our scheme was a bit different and they were asked to penetrate more, they'd have much better career numbers.

Yeah he is. If I had the picks and needed WR help more than anything, I'd honestly draft two this year. An idea I'd love to see Cleveland go with. With a deep draft, they could easily get two really good WRs to put with Gordon and Cameron. They can still get a good QB if they do it right.

Can't go wrong either way, imo.

Kareem Martin (DE) from North Carolina is a guy some of you may wanna see work out Monday if you happen to catch the combine.

I believe the rest of the QBs run next, then the rest of the WRs. It'll be a little while. He's been saying he doesn't know why people think he's a 4.6 guy, and says he'll run sub 4.6. I hope he does because that's big for him. 4.55 is what I'm predicting, but I'm sadly preparing myself for a slower time.

No frickin way

Revis and Sherman could easily jam Benjamin and shut him down off the line

It takes a S over the top and Evans will walk on an NFL field beating most NFL CBs one on one

Evans is a manchild
