Dude you are always not understanding very easy to understand things.
They don't perform for you, they're performing for the personnel department and head coach (sometimes not even them) of 32 teams. Those guys don't lose their shite if you don't do something man. Don't believe that media nonsense.

@Andrew_Gribble: Alabama's HaHa Clinton-Dix runs an unofficial 4.52 in his first 40 attempt. Mayock and Deion like it.

Thinking 4.55 official, which is good.

HaHa just missed the ball on a drill.....The rest of them caught it. Oh well......

Looks like HaHa's official time will be 4.53ish, they showed his run with Clowney's, and they were more or less neck and neck. That's amazing when you consider Clowney is about 4 inches taller and 58 pounds heavier. Good time for HaHa though. His ability to move around in space is what is really gonna stand out about him.
LC26 has insane potential though. He's gonna blow up the combine next year. Supposedly a sub 4.4 guy with a 40in+ vert? Can't wait to see him on the field this year with that kind of talent and another year in the system. While Free and Strong isn't that different in our defense, don't let the SS tag fool you, he could play Free, or hell maybe even Corner if he wanted to. Guy is an athlete through and through.

I was just thinking the same about LC. He is a stud special teamer, a great open field tackler, he can cover, and he can hit. I think he is easily a top 15 pick and a potential top six or so.

Yeah, if there is gonna be any knock on LC, it'll be size, and even then it's only because you have to find something to knock a guy on. We list him at 6'0", so he's probably 5'11", which is fine for a Safety, like I said if anything it'd be something like "not ideal height", and that would only be because people feel like they have to put something down in the Cons section. He's got pretty long arms so he's got length, just a great athlete.

HaHa with the 33inch Vert, I expected something more like 36.

Calvin Pryor, who many believe to be HaHa's top competition for first Safety taken, ran a 4.62 on his first try. HaHa's best was 4.5. Edge to HaHa there, official times will be interesting.

What they're saying about HaHa:
quote:
Matt Bowen ?@MattBowen41 1h Clinton-Dix can open his hips & transition smoothly in drills. That's a plus for a 6-1 safety.
quote:
Dion Caputi ?@nfldraftupdate 1h Alabama S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix got a little bit high when changing direction, but still fluid and still quick. Really athletic player.
quote:
Andrew Gribble ?@Andrew_Gribble 1h Pro Bowl CB Joe Haden on Clinton-Dix: "He looks legit."
quote:
Nathan Kearns ?@nkearns12 10m Haha Clinton-Dix seems to be out-Combining Calvin Pryor in the "shear athleticism" department; will be interesting to see DB drills

No, waiting til Pro Day. Did a decent 18 reps on the bench. He needs to really impress at Pro Day to get drafted, but even then. Maybe he can put on weight and try LB on for size, but I don't think he'll make it in the NFL as a Safety. If he plays as an in the box Safety on a team with a solid secondary to start with, maybe.

I think he will make a team as a sub package safety. He has a really high IQ and has a knack for making the big play.

There's always a spot for solid special teams guys.
