I cheered for Auburn not only so we could be back in control of our destiny, but I also wanted to see Ole Miss knocked back down to reality. Their fans were really shitty after our game, moreso than when Auburn rushed the field after the IB.

I cheer for bama going to the sec championship. Why let dogma trump pragmatism, or hate trump your love for bama? That seems so petty. Why would you want to sacrifice an awesome season for auburn gloating?

Same for me.
I knew that Auburn winning was good for us, and I wanted things to be good for us.
But as I watched the game, I really didn't want Auburn to win. I eventually entered a state of mind where I was just watching and whatever happened happened.

Same here. People get so dramatic these days. Just watch the game, and hope for the best. Whatever that may be.

Exactly, it was a win-win situation for us.
The best part was they won in lucky fashion again, watching them deny this is worth the price of admission.
