Merry Christmas everyone!

We have a thing with our family where the kids have to pick something they are thankful for.

So here is an Alabama related thing I'm thankful for.

Losing to LSU and UT last year. Those two rivalries, especially UT for me, had lost their importance and I really didn't care about them. That really helped bring this years games meaning and made this teams journey more special. The third Saturday in October had become just another Saturday, but I woke up that Saturday this year full of piss and vinegar and hating UT. I had almost stopped taking crap to LSU fans, but that got my mouth running to those morons at work and a few misguided family members.

As a fan, I hate for Bama to lose any game. When we do though, I enjoy the next year's win even more.

And I am really looking forward to beating Texas in two weeks.
