Thanks Atlwreck.

I looked on the Bama parking site and could not find the DCH lot.
Don’t mind a walk, particularly if it gets us out easily. Can you steer me in the right direction? Can I prepay and buy a pass now?

That's not a bad walk at all, especially if you don't mind a walk.

I'm not familiar with the boy scout lot, but this link has a dch lot:

and this is a lot that you can reserve a pass for that is by the baseball field and Moody music hall.

We ended up getting a pass at the capstone deck. We plan on going to the Bryant museum, and spending the afternoon touring the campus. If anyone has a tailgate near there, we would love to stop by and say hello.

Thank you everyone for your help!

Last game I was at (ole miss)I tried parking in the intermodal parking garage on 7th. They have transportation from there to stadium ( I think it's a couple of bucks) or you can hit up the roaming golf carts...I walked because it's appx 3/4 of a mile. It's also very for easy for me (heading south) to get out of after walking back -ie 20-30 min after game. It's an easy walk but it will be a late kick

I can’t speak to their game experience or post-game, but they were well fed pregame at least. RTR!

That’s good.

Can’t imagine how the Quad area looked

It was a good crowd. LSU fans seemed to be fairly realistic about the likely outcome. And least those that I dealt with.

Or maybe my view is just so skewed by the rant that anyone who isn’t a raving lunatic comes across as reasonable.

I was telling my friend this as well. LSU fans were great and the ones that hung out with us at the bars were down to earth and no trash talk at all between the fanbases. This was a complete 180 from two weeks ago when Tennessee was in town. Tenn brought a lot more fans and came in expecting to run us out of the building and were cocky.

This just goes to show you that internet fans are the worst of the worst. The visiting fans that actually come to town are for the most part great fans. Was anyone else surprised that they didn't bring more fans than they did?

I talked to several people who cancelled trips in the weeks leading up to the game. Once group went from two foursomes to two people.

But I thought they brought a pretty good crowd. I didn’t make the Tenn game but easier trip for them obviously. Interesting that they were more confident.

Guys, we had a great time. Dirt sand which and his crew threw a great tailgate, and treated us like family. Very thankful for their generosity.

We walked around the campus, went to the BB Museum, the bookstore, and hung out on the quad. A couple of frat boy comments on my wife and I wearing purple and gold, but that was to be expected anywhere. Nothing serious.

The game was great, other than the result. You guys support your team, and we were surrounded by friendly fans, with intelligent takes.

We would go again to Tuscaloosa in a heart beat.

I thought they traveled well. Was surprised they only brought their pep band. What was really weird was how quiet campus was pre-game. The Texas game was more energetic by far.
