Yeah I remember 2003. Was at that game as well. I remember being impressed with the LSU fans relentless noise despite Bama never being in the game at all. Completely mis-matched It was total domination from beginning to end.
I was living in Decatur,Al at the time and went to this game with 2 gumps. Needless to say they wanted to leave at halftime. I was calling all my GUMP friends and was asking why it was so quiet in bDS that I could make phone calls

The first cracks in the Sherrill regime happened that night in Death Valley... or more precisely, the first time it became clear that Joe Lee's defense could not succeed without Smoot and Bean on the outside...

Smoot was on that 2000 team
I still have nightmares of Kendall Roberson getting beat on the corner route at USC.

That's right** Forgot he was still there, since his impact was marginalized by the rest of our secondary getting picked on. Bringing 7-8 every time only works when you can shut down ALL the receivers one on one. One weakness = torched, which was the story of that year.

The game when Forrest Gump scored and kept on running through the end zone.

I was a student there from 03-08 (the dark days), and I have to agree, 2005 vs. Gators. We stayed in student section for 20-30 mins after game. Everybody was yelling the entire game, and all the way out. I will never forget Prothro #4, returning punt, I threw my full mixed drink, and then it got called back. That was funnest game I have ever seen in Bryant-Denny hands down. I bet C. Leak knows every word to "Ramma Jamma"!!! Roll Tide, I love you shula.

I was in student section, front row above tunnel, sitting right in middle. I can tell you that was loudest crowd of people I have ever heard in my life. I watched replay the next day, and it was loud on the tube too. That was first time we beat top 5 team in B-D too!

I have been to over 40 Bama games and the loudest was the first half in 2010 vs Auburn or the 1989 game vs. Auburn

Hands down without exception Bryant Denny was the loudest I've ever heard in my life in 2005 when we played Florida and beat them 31-3.
I remember watching that game and thinking that Bama had finally overtaken the bluehair season ticket holders that used to sit on their hands the entire game. Defintely seemed loud on TV. Funny that a Shula game tops your list.

It's easily the 05 Florida game. Loudest game I've been to home or away.
It would have gotten louder if Prothro's punt return wasn't called back.

I suppose the loudest Alabama game I attended would have to be the only one ive ever been to in Bryant-Denny, the 2005 LSU-Alabama game. It was a good one.

I was at the 9-6 LSU BAMA game and everyone was too nervous to cheer. You could tell our team and our fans were wound up way too tight for that game. That game was HYPED more than any game I can ever remember.
