That's their #1 problem on defense now. Muschamp's got them going to the right spots, making the right reads, and generally doing all the things needed to be successful but they don't have the players to consistently close the deal.

In those cases, Auburn often plays like a team that doesn't even want to be there.

They are 89th in the nation at rushing D. They are giving up more yards rushing than they did last year. They are giving up roughly the same number of yards passing as they did last year. They aren't getting better. They played aTm who was broken on offense, and UGa in their last 2 games.

They are playing better, but their offense can't keep them off the field so they get worn down in the 2nd half. Their DL has been pretty disruptive the past few games from what I've seen, and they fly to the ball a little better than last year.

Don't get me wrong, they're still not a very good defense. But they do look better now than they did 4-5 weeks ago.

If you don't think they're getting better you haven't been watching their games or the crimson's too dark on your glasses.

Arkansas on the road: 24 points in regulation. Also 4.2 ypc rushing (Arky has a 5.2 season avg).

Ole Miss: 27 points

aTm on the road: 10 points

Georgia: 13 offensive points.

Yes, aTm and UGA are broken offenses but OM and Arky are not and Aubs managed to slow them down pretty good too. It is a defense that is making the most out of things like getting turnovers to stop drives, but they're getting them.

It won't be nearly enough, but they'll make a few plays in the Iron Bowl.

Besides Ole Miss, BAMAs O is better then the rest of the teams you mentioned. UGA did us a favor, they are done for season. Lawson is going to get ready for the senior bowl. They are going to lay down early.

When they're good, they're good. They're feisty as all hell and we'd be stupid to check the game off as a win.

They ain't good this year. In fact, they're pitiful. They have zero chance in this game. This is coming from a fan who is usually nervous about any conference game. They have no shot.

I am always worried about Auburn, but this year I think we are going in dry on them. Lets see if Gus can score 60 on our D.

How is this game on CBS? I thought there was a rule that limited a team to 5 regular season CBS games? Just glad it isn't a night game.

Apparently multiple Auburn twitter handles are begging their fans to not sell tickets to Bama fans. How sad is that shite

I'm of the opinion that this one gets a little chippier than will be generally predicted. Maybe a 2009-like matchup. OJ Howard plays the role of Roy Upchurch and wins the game.

Don't misunderstand. I expect Bama to roll them, but I don't think they will lay down.

I would not be surprised if it looked like 2008, but a lot of our fans think it will be 2012 all over again and it won't,

My Auburn friend put his tickets for sale on Facebook and said Auburn fans had first preference.

I don't really blame them. I had to sit next to some Auburn fans in 2008 in BDS. They were nice enough folks though.

2008 was a 36-0 beatdown

THIS!

Their defense looks better because they played two poor offensive teams aTm & UGA. Lawson makes plays and energizes the D, but they don't have the talent or depth to go up against Henry/Ridley/Howard/Stewart for four quarters.

Their offense is in the cellar of the conference and will likely stay there with White hurt and JJ scarred shitless of contact. JJ literally folded up in the fetal position in the UGA game just to avoid contact..the UGA players didn't have to touch him. What do you think our D will do to a player that shows he's afraid?

Bama won't have to get fancy on offense, just methodical and deliberate plays to get the ball down the field, eat up the clock and wear down their defense.

Bama's defense can feast all day on those weak QB's and error prone WR's.

I expect a beat down.

I don't expect Auburn to not make plays and give effort like they did in 2012.

Most years this has and will be a competitive game but this year it's different. I don't think AU can score and I don't think they can stop us. I see a 37-3 type score. I would say worse but the booger eaters will not quit at home.

Derrick Henry is bigger than Kris Frost. I think McKenzie has an inch and a couple of pounds. It's going do be a long night for the barn D once that pain train gets rolling.

They don't have a QB that fits their system, so I'm not worried.
