Who would take him as a HC?

After 17 games (18 if you count the OU game) I'm still not 100% sure. Leaning no. And not Kirby, either. If I was Battle, being forced to pursue a new HC next year, my top target is either Pruitt or Nussmeier.

He really hurt us when Bateman was in and he kept running it up the middle with Henry for no gain on first and second down every series just about.

But he does great calling in a two-minute type drill like we were in most game.

If our offense puts up decent numbers, I think he leaves for a HC job somewhere. Some decent school is going to fire that HC, and he will probably be a better HC after having spent time under Saban for 2 years.

Our offense has gained over 1,500 total yards in three games.

Offense was not the problem tonight. Sure...that play call with 3 minutes left was horrid, but our offense moved the ball against Ole Miss tonight.

Our special teams continues to be an enormous liability. We can't even take free kickoffs and hold onto to the fricking ball.

Cyrus fumbled a kickoff and then luckily recovered it but then he caught a punt on the 5 for fc, the rule is always let it go inside the 10.

I love it when people cite stats like that. As if that excuses our complete inability to establish a running game or capitalize or make Ole Miss' arse quit. Do we look like an offense that's gains over 500 yards a game?

5 TOs though. Ok so last INT was because he wanted to throw instead of running but if those other FOUR TOs wouldn't have happened people wouldn't be on here complaining about Kiffen.

Who coaches our QBs not to throw those INTs?

It's difficult to establish a running game when you are playing from 17-20 points behind. Be that as it may, however, we still rushed for over 200 yards against Ole Miss.

Do you want the coaches to hold their dicks while they take a piss, too? At some point it is up to the players to execute. Two of those three interceptions were on the player and the player alone.

We started off playing 3 points behind.

Please be honest, do you really think we established a running game tonight? Did we really establish our dominance on the OL?

To the extent that you want? No.

But we did gain over 200 yards on the ground. That's usually enough to win.

So is 37 points, but that doesn't really tell the story
