When adjusting for sacks and quality of opponent, CFB Nerds’ has Tennessee’s rushing yards per attempt defense at 110th. There is a scenario where we are able to run the ball on them pretty well

Tennessee spreads teams out and runs it. Their RBs are good at finding the hole and exploding through it(hehe...).

They go fast as well.

We will key on stopping the run so they'll try to loosen us up going horizontal with the quick screen game and going vertical in the passing game.

The good news is that I am about to go to Surcheros and get a steak taco salad in one of those edible bowl things.

I think Alabama actually needs to be able to stop the run without overcommitting bodies to it. Milton can hit deep passes and truly think they will be looking to swamp our asses with quick strikes.

I think the key to the offense is consistency in the run game. Alabama needs to control possession and wear out their front. I hope to see more Jam and Justice this week. Their ability to get around the corner could be a good way to get those linemen moving side to side.

This is really simple. As long as our QB plays like they are in their third year of the program at the best football program in America. We will win.

Their ability to block against one of the best edge rushing tandems outside of ours may get Jalen killed.

I think having Malachi back will be the most important thing so I hope he's good to go. Best DB at consistently beating his block and making a tackle

It’s not like Jase and Roydell have done a very good job of blocking either

Remember when we said Max Johnson wasn’t going to put up a fight?….

Lots of assumptions being made here. Don’t discount Milton as a threat

It is good that Rennessee won last weekend. That indicates that they did not spend their whole off-week preparing for Alabama.

Not wasting the first two drives. This will be important to win this game and most of the games going forward. Have to be better out of the gate

Do not fall behind in the 2nd half, have a couple of 3 and outs and then let them kill the fast clock with their excellent RBs. That's my nightmare. Don't want to see that.

Feel like Tennessee will run Milton a lot today. We will probably struggle to consistently stop their running game with the wide splits.

Think you play safe like Texas A&M did in the second half. Clamp down if they get close to the red zone and hold them to FGs. Don't care if they run for 200 if they can't score TDs without the big play.

On offense you just hope you hit some big plays and don't turn it over. May not be pretty, but that is what we got. Feel like we matchup well inside on the run game then most believe. Think without penalties might be able to ground and pound a bit today

Heupel not going to let Milton sit back there on traditional drop backs. Just look at the game against Texas A&M they continually ran the ball on third and long even. They don't want him to make a mistake
