Continuing to go up tempo when it was clear the defense needed a break was horrendous play calling. A blind man could see that the tempo wasn't working, but they just kept banging their heads against the wall. There was a point where the offense was on and off the field in under 30 seconds of game time on multiple possessions. Honestly, Sarkisian made a strong case for being one and done as the OC.

Did Sark tell Jalen to miss a few big throws? Or tell Dieter, Stewart, or Ridley to drop balls? What about telling Cam to jump offsides twice? Or for the Offensive line to be atrocious at times, and only give Jalen a couple of decent pockets? Was that Sark? I'll hangup and listen.

Agree, but I do think we should not have been going up tempo so much. We should've been chewing as much clock as possible between our offensive snaps.

For the most part, I thought the game was called fairly decently. One issue I have is not taking shots downfield more in the first half. Often, the deep fly or go route is an easy read for an inexperienced QB. Your usually matched up one on one and at worst on a pick it's like a long punt. It could have loosened up the back end of the defense and kept the running game more open. But, I wasn't near as upset during the course of the game as when Kiffin was here.

I think Sarkisian will do a very good job next year, and as previously noted, he, not Kiffin, was the QB coach for those great USC teams, so he'll be good for the QBs too.

This is silly. Sark called multiple safe and very open throws that either Jalen misthrew, recievers dropped or Jalen didn't see.

We were not just gonna run 60 times and average 5 ypc. It just wasn't happening. We had guys at the 2nd level running around in space the whole game.
