They ran close to 100 plays. Look it sucks but they deserved to win. Outside of the first quarter we got our arse kicked

Dammit. First Kiffin and now Sarkisian calling those incomplete passes.

When you have a gassed defense and you quickly run to the line after a 5 yard gain just so Jalen can throw it in the stands and kill the clock, some blame has to be placed on the play caller.

The game was called well IMO. Bo going out at a key point of the game hurt. And the secondary just got burnt by some big throws and catches from Watson to Williams.

At some point you have to call a spade a spade and acknowledge that Clemson's edge on offense with a player like Watson is what did it.

Well when you play percentages...they did. They had a defense that well outmatched our passing game..yet we stubbornly stuck to a broken passing game.

Clemson had an equal team which means they could actually take advantage of stubborn playcalling

The quarterback has to produce. Clemson's defense knew Hurts couldn't consistently complete passes downfield, so they shut down the short game.

Our own offensive coordinators know Hurts can't consistently complete passes downfield, so Kiffin has had to scheme around that the whole year.

It wasn't called well. Bama should have lived or died by the running game...we thought we could pass against an top defense with a
terrible passer..didn't work out

You weren't going to be able to live and die by the running game this whole game. They made adjustments. You were going to have to have balance. And then when Bo went out, that puts you behind the 8-ball.

Sometimes it's as simple as a team is a good team with a special player like Watson. It sucks. Lord knows I've seen it in the basketball end running into a hot team like UConn who gets hot at just the right time.

It's a tough loss, but I think you have to give some credit to Clemson at this point. Everybody going in knew it would be the best matchup with Alabama.

You get pretty hand-cuffed as an O-Coordinator when your QB can't throw a football, the defense knows it, cheats up, which also hurts the run game.

Some of you, I seriously don't understand. Should we have handed the ball off every play in the second half? Should we just abandon advancing the ball through the air? You think this game would have been different had we run even less clock by running and converted less 3rd and longs on the ground?

When your alternative is a 20% chance at a completion...you run the ball. Saban did a terrible job at playing percentages

You do realize the WRs had multiple drops that would have resulted in first downs, right?

As far as the play calling... it was a much better "flow" before Bo got hurt. From there, we just never found the next hot hand.

Maybe Jalen should've taken off running more, earlier in the game?
