The only difference is in 2008 we tried to feature our running game and mask JPW's flaws. This year we are hoping that JPW magically becomes Joe Montana.

You don't need a Montana. Another Sims would be good enough.

Blake Barnet era needs to start today or else we're certainly a 4 loss team this year.

Black 2 drops, Stewart 3 drops and didnt high point the ball at the endzone.

10-21 in the first half with 6 or 7 drops. If you are going to down the QB, at least give the full picture of why our drives are stalling.

I guess that dropped TD was Coker's fault ?

No first year QB should be throwing this much. That is on Kiff and co.

Sims' numbers were inflated by being able to throw to Cooper, but he could actually put touch on a deep ball. Coker cannot.

Coker wishes he was as good as JPW.

Coker is not as bad as some of y'all are trying to make out. Our WRs are not good. He's average, but he is getting no help whatsoever.

He's easily the worst QB we've had that I can remember at throwing a ball over 20 yards downfield.

Bro,

he isn't good. Sure, he makes some good throws, but he makes way too many bad ones that will get picked against pretty much every SEC team we will play. He is virtually incapable of making accurate throws more than 15 yards down the field.

I will agree that our Oline isn't helping, but our WRs have been good besides this game. His windup basically kills any timing on slant routes, and his staring down of WRs mixed with his wind up makes the majority of his passes very vulnerable.

I'm just saying, why not at least give Morriss or Cornwell a look.

His release is so slow that we can't run the quick screen to the WR when he is in.

Me too. JPW wasn't great by any means, but he was good and played with confidence and could hit the deep ball on occasion.

That's exactly who he reminds me of. I think Wilson only had 10 passing td's in 2008 when we went 12-2.
