With CBS taking Bama MSU thats 5 for the year. Just as last year CBS can not pick up the Iron Bowl.

Expect ESPN prime time. I wonder if they let Brent do it again?

I am tired of playing on CBS...the limit should be less than that....They showed that LSU had played in almost twice as many primetime games as bama has since Saban has been there, and its because we always get put on the 3:30 game with all the commercials.

Alabama has 39 CBS appearances under Nick Saban not counting SEC Championship Games.

LSU has 37 in the same time.

The primetime numbers are different because all LSU non conference games are in primetime and we play most of ours in the day.

The product CBS has been putting out has been pretty horrible for years. They advertise the game starting at 7pm but the two dolts talk for almost 30 minutes before the kick and then the game runs 4 hours with crap like running 1 play, TV timeout and 5 minutes of commercials. The ESPN broadcasts are far better, start within 5-10 minutes of advertised and finish about a half hour quicker. Way better than CBS in my opinion.

Verne and Gary are worth the ads to me when put in contrast to the ESPN folks.
Edit: I guess not all the ESPN peeps. Mainly Galloway, Kanell, Maisel, and Pollack.

Love Gary. He knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable during the games. He even calls plays before they are run.

Verne gotta go tho. He adds nothing for me. Sure he is a nice guy, but his time has passed

I'm glad it's not on CBS with Vern, we've only got 2 more of those this year, MSU and hopefully SECCG. If it's going to be on ESPN I hope they put Nessler and Blackledge on the game.
