I agree with Boz.. I will take Turner over him right now. He can be 2 deep.. but let Turner start. Guy has become a pass rush nightmare

Is it ? Are you sure he has a major injury ? Is there a link to an official statement ?

Oh, yeah, Allen is not playing again.

If we are going to discuss long shot injury returns I'd go with Wheaton. Sounded like he was doing physical therapy all season... Playoff games are about what... five months since his injury ? That's close to when an avg Joe would return from a fracture.

Maybe situational, but he will be WAY behind in pass blocking and a liability.

Saban just reiterated a "pretty significant knee injury" is the current thought with Metchie.

Gotta think Earle will be back unless something compounded since a few weeks ago, right?

He was dressed last night I think?

Yes. Charlie Potter tweeted that he went through warm ups with a brace on his knee. You have to believe that he will be close to 100% in three weeks. Getting B Rob and Sanders healthy is Paramount, too. We will need to run the ball effectively against their 3-3-5 defense.

A torn ligament like an ACL is going to make the knee unstable. Pain is tolerable for some and intolerable for others, it’s subjective. Lane Bearden punted with a torn ACL if that gives you any perspective on what level of functionality is still possible with a torn ACL.

Been there, done that. I played on a damaged ACL but it impacts what you can do and how you have to compensate. ANY action that pushes the knee joint forward (think deceleration or cutting at speed) is not going to work well. For a WR they lose there ability to cut on a dime, carry speed thru a break, and create separation.

If there’s any doubt about JM’s acl he needs to sit. His future and his ability to make money is more important than us winning a national championship

He only posts in a very few threads. Given the 100% perfect record he's got on injury information and the speed on which he gets it, he's either on staff or VERY close to a staff member.

We probably should create a code name for him to even discuss him - wouldn't want to risk burning our mole.
