Im not down on this team

5 turnovers
Gave up a fluky tip drill TD
No QB
OL beat up all night
Yet this team came within a last drive to win this game. After the 2nd fumble on the KO and evem after being down 30-10, the team never gave up and Im proud of them for that. Ole Miss was 4-14 on 3rd down, but giving Ole Miss the short field all night was the killer.
OL was outplayed and we still havent found a QB to take charge, even still, we can still win the SEC and or finish strong.
A win vs UGA in 2 weeks will have everyone singing a different tune if we can pull that off

I have almost quick calling this type play a fluke against our DBs. It almost always seems to work.

I think they demonstrated they were willing to fight for a win when needed. They fought until the very end.

Never underestimate Richt's ability to blow game he should win. Not saying that UGA should win against 'Bama in 2 weeks, just saying as of now, everything will point to them beating the shite out of us. I haven't given up. shite can happen. If Alabama walks into Athens and comes out with a big in, the perception of this team will change remarkably. You're looking at possibly 5-1 going into College Station, get a win there, and we're looking at 7-1 and hosting LSU, who Alabama has beaten the past 4 meetings.
I still trust the defense and the progression of the team. Mullaney looks good at WR, still got Henry, JK Scott played well, and hell I'll say it, Coker was resilient and played well. We got this. And if not, frick it, its alright. Not the end of the world. Got plenty to look forward too.

All of the shite getting flung around, not just on tRant, but on all the Bama boards is just ridiculous. All of the hand wringing, self-loathing, doomsday shite is just over the top.The loss was frustrating to me because we gave this away. You just cannot go -5 on turnovers and beat anyone in the SEC West.,,,,especially a very good team like Ole Miss. It's football and shite happens....
I saw a LOT that I was impressed with...most of which this team has heart. Our defense is very good and our DB's will be a beastly unit. The only criticism I have is the QB situation and why we have not developed one of these guys.

Really think we were the better team, we just played the worst game I have seen in the Saban era.
-5 turnovers resulting in 31 points
-Fluke Td
-One illegal Td with lineman 5 yards downfield bringing the corner off the reciever
All of this and we still win if we have some conservative playcalling on the second to last possession.... We had over 3 minutes left, a timeout and they were gassed.
For me it comes down to who I would put my money on if we played them again Saturday and I would bet on the Tide

What would those things be?
The fact that their QB looked great against USCe? Every team that's played USCe has looked great against them. Unless there's another 5 turnover performance, I've not seen one thing that says Georgia's going to beat the shite out of Alabama.
