Jabriel Washington needs to learn how to not dive at people's feet and wrap up and we win that game a tad more comfortably. With only 1 TD given up to sylve getting moss'd on. I think Jackson or brown could have neutralized that number 11 with the dreads. He's just physical and can jump.

Great news. Only problem is that we won't know if the defense improved until the Florida game.
Well the thing about that is Florida is the type of offense our defense stop easily. Florida, Georgia, LSU and Arkansas won't be a real threat offensively because they aren't going to hurry up, they aren't going to spread us out and they don't have very good qbs that will require complex blitz schemes.

I though UF went to a spread this year. Not for sure because their game was cancelled.

You are correct. They hired away Duke's OC so that they could run the spread and I assume some variant of the HUNH.

@marctorrence: Eddie Jackson looked like he replaced Bradley Sylve in a first-team Nickel drill today. Geno Smith at Star DePriest back at MLB.

WV receivers made a few great catches on perfectly thrown balls, even with great coverage. They also had some big drops that could have changed the game a bit.

Rewatching right now, Christion Jones just dropped the bomb

Anyone remember the yardage Jones would have gained on his two drops if he had caught them and went down at the spot of the catch?

They won't be executing it efficiently enough to really give us a problem

I think you are right about that, it's gonna take them some time to get accustomed to that type of play, our biggest worry will probably be their D.

Yeah, VHIII is probably the best corner in CFB. White needs to be healthy because he and Howard will have to make up for whatever VHIII can limit Coop to.

This is where Kiff will earn his check. I think he is going to come up with some schemes that will get guys open and create some mismatches out in open space. I think this is when he will be at his best.

That and vs LSU. Tre White and Rashard Robinson are up there as well.

That will be interesting because of their running game vs our run d and vice versa. I think both passing games will be a wash

Wisconsin handled LSU's running game, and had some key injuries in the second half which hurt them.

Can't even compare Trickett to Wis' QB, that dude was just throwing it up, if it wasn't for him, they most likely would have won.

Yea but by that time LSU would have corrected a lot of things and have a more efficient offense

I'm not convinced Jackson is a savior

He's not. But he's more talented than Sylve and provides depth and flexibility in the weakest part of our team.

Can jackson handle the bigger, more physical receivers? Again we're going to need someone to cover Seals-Jones

I like Jackson...but I hope they're not rushing him back too soon. I know he's been medically cleared but it's been what, 4 or 5 months since his ACL surgery? I know knee surgery techniques have vastly improved over the years but that still seems like a super quick recovery...Adrian Peterson made an amazing recovery but I think he had a few more months recovery time...I hope they at least limit Eddie's plays in the next couple of games...
