I would trot Tua out after halftime.

Jalen needs to regather what he's doing out there at this point. I'd let Tua start the first few drives in the third just to let Jalen calm down and think.

Letting a QB calm down isn't a dumbass move? He's missing easy plays. He just needs to calm down and make plays 7 year olds make.

Dude he's throwing it behind wide open receivers on crossing routes. Let's be honest. I'm it saying he needs to be benched permanently, he just needs to calm down.

It isn't a case of needing to calm down. He just can't hit a downfield pass unless the receiver is wide arse open. If you sit him for that then he will stay on the bench. It is what it is. Just realize the weakness and throw short passes I guess.

Benching Coker helped him up his game.

Hurts doesn't turn the ball over is one of his biggest positives. Not hating on Tua - dude will be great - but that is the con when you argue starting a freshman qb. More unknown and greater potential for the turnover which can change the game. Clearly an opportune moment for me to come post my thoughts, but its one Hurts best attributes

Agree on the Turnover issue. Tua has a better arm with better timing, but I don't think anyone wants to deal with more turnovers in November onwards.

I don’t think Tua has a better arm strength wise at all. He may be more accurate but Tua’s arm strength isn’t anything to brag about.

I'd say Jalen has a stronger arm, but I mean Tua has a good arm. Not one of those super strong arms, but those guys are usually not as accurate. Tua has exceptional ball placement.
