Somebody made a post last week alluding to concerning tweets from Drake. I looked him up and didn't see anything. Wonder if there's a fake account.

I'd rather him start than Yeldon FWIW. I really think Drake should get more carries at least.

I don't follow him and said I was kidding. My uncle showed me the tweet tonight at our get together and was looking for someone who does follow him to clarify on it.

As in you change up male/female partners? That's cool man.....I probably would've kept that on the hush though....

You all are fricking dumb. Both Drake and Yeldon are good backs. Its the line that hampered both of them this year in regards to YPC... the fumbles on the other hand fall on them. And neither have been stellar.

I think they have different styles, but TJ had more experience and should have learned to hold on to the ball better. But then again we have been SPOILED ROTTEN with good ball security the last few years.

I would have given my first born to have a toss sweep to Drake on that 3rd and 1 in the 4th Quarter against AU.

Drake is a better runner than Yeldon and should've gotten more carries against AU. The fumbling is the only thing I can think of that is holding him back.

I expect our OL to be much improved run blocking next year. Unlike last year when we had to replace our OLs we have big physical guys who are ready to
play and we will for years to come. The competition for spots on our OL is going to be unreal.

Drake seems to have a better burst than Yeldon, and - in my opinion - hits the hole harder/faster. I don't remember seeing him the entire second half of the IB... he may have played, but I didn't see him.

He played STs. Costly mistake by our coaches IMO by not feeding him the rock AT ALL.

This thread is depressing. Drake was gashing Auburn, just like he did everyone else, and disappeared. Unexplainable and retarded.

Yep, but I'd say that had more to do with our backs than the line, and also less sacks helps that, and AJ was dodging sacks like a pro.

It is very disappointing. Drake must have huge fumbling issues in practice as well. The difference between Yeldon and Drake is not so vast that Yeldon shouldn't currently be getting so many more carries than Drake. Drake, at the very least, does provide a change of pace and brings a lot more speed to the table. Our running game just never developed a true rhythm this year. Even Fowler went MIA after the A&M game to some degree in regards to running goes. We lacked that bruiser.

I do think our offense seems to be geared to getting the players to adapt to the system instead of adapting the system to the strengths/talents of our players. IMO, that should change a little bit.
