Tana Patrick played some. he made an important play against lsu on the goal line that prevented a score.

bj scott, alvin kamara, simmons, townsend and shavers were the ones i was most excited about, oh well. oh and earl alexander too

To be fair, Kamara would have been great had he stayed, but i understand not wanting to be behind Henry for three years. Hard to consider him a bust considering what he did at UT and the career he has had in the NFL. Henry was better though.

Hey y'all remember that one time Markail Benton was our secret weapon against one of the greatest offenses of all-time?

I tried to forget that but I couldn't.

I'd like to submit, The Hatchet, Ivan Matchett.

Not the highest rated guy, but i thought he was going to end up being very good for us.

True, was reading into the general theme of players that didn't live up to expectations.

Rod Woodson was suppose to be an enforcer at safety.

Turned out he wasn't even the best DB in his HS secondary, 2* Darren Bates was...

I can remember being on one of the Alabama boards during the all star game. He was blowing it up, and we were all stoked about him coming to Alabama. Then, he goes to USM, GCC. Never really lived up to that game.

Star Jackson-

He was here in Palm Beach County at Lake Worth HS. I never could figure out how he merited such a high ranking. Didn't look all that special to me.

Good call. Rod Woodson's highlight film was sick though. Dude knocked the frick out of people.

Tyren couldn't lay off the weed and I don't know what Emmons' deal was. He didn't do anything at FAU, either.

Tyren ended up selling his SECC ring to a pawn shop in Marietta and a lawyer friend of mine bought it! His Dad was a speed and agility coach for my daughter and he told me the horror stories about what happened to him.

Ended up with about 3 different baby mama's, doing drugs all the time, and not working a bit. Coach offered to pay for rehab, but he wouldn't go. This was about 3 years ago, not sure what he is doing now.

Pretty sad story.
