Can't be anymore obvious now? Outside of that stretch against Texas at the end of the game where they were absolutely gassed

But it's the little things like getting lined up, and not blitzing from the bleachers. Last year it was a given we would blow 7/8 assignments a game for huge gains.

Now the other team has to fight for everything.

Run defense has been overlooked this year I think. They’ve been lights out for much of the year, Ole Miss and Texas both struggled heavily to move the ball on the ground

Tim Keenan had himself a ballgame in the middle

And now the same people who defended Golding are defending Rees....

Just imagine where the team would be this season with even an above average OC.

The middle still gets vacated far too often, and the refusal to back the secondary off on 3 or 4th and long still gives other teams too much of an opportunity to pick it up. But all in all, there feels like quicker adjustments than in years past. They are playing extremely well.

I don't think Golding called a great game tonight. Golding missed a perfect opportunity to show Saban He can call a good game. There was moments where I knew what plays they're calling because he hadn't really made any adjustments since he came to Ole Miss.

We actually did back off on 4th and 23. It backfired, the got a first down.

On the 4th down and 17 we blitz and murder Dart.

I have been screaming this for the last 3 years.

We're simply a different defense when we rush the passer.

LB we had in coverage on 4th and 23 couldn't stay with their RB.

I’m surprised that we didn’t see more Quan Robinson yesterday in the middle after Lawson left the game.

Thought we would use 28 more in passing situations, JUCO transfer LB.

Supposed to be really fast.

I thought so as well but maybe he doesn’t feel comfortable in the system like the other guys right now. He is very fast and athletic. Has played on special teams so far. Robinson is an experienced player in the defense and would know the calls better.

17 Trez Marshall, who supposed to a be a great athlete and good in coverage.
