Yeah, once he got clear of his cancer, he never got 'cleared' to return to football. So he's back here working.

That's good to hear. I once heard someone say he was a jerk about photos. But I guess that wss either bs, or he was just having a bad day. He always seemed like a good dude during different interviews.

That does seem like a good occupation for him if he never plays again. And to just have ex Bama Saban guys around current players that is great. Those still young guys put in the work, won their titles, and now can provide leadership and mentoring. They're still around the same age, do they can relate to the current players and what they are going through in life.

This actually gave me a sigh of relief since he's out of the running for Alabama OC.
