Here is a bit of a change in topic: I thought the field looked better than it ever has. Has something been changed?

It's spring not fall?

I looked back at last year's spring game and IMO, it looks much better than last spring.

Went back and watched it again, still liked del Rio in his limited appearance. He was moving the team, and made good reads. The guy had offers from Oklahoma st. Colorado st. and Oregon st. Apparently Mcelwain liked him. Did Jai Miller play?

Good! The CSS rebroadcast goes to the end of the game.

The final thought is that if AJ goes down we are screwed! that's all there is to it. I have always believed that the qb is half the team. We will live and die by AJ just like last year. We have the talent and ability to go 12-13 wins. If they can stay focused and healthy.....I see a three-pete. don't get comfortable with 15...16 is on its way!

After watching it again on youtube I'm really impressed with the defense. Only thing I'm wondering is does Vinnie start over Landon at safety?

I disagree. We obviously would be worse, but we would not be screwed.

Everyone playing chicken little over the QBs needs to step back and relax. Alec Morris looked good after he settled down. Showed plus arm strength and very good accuracy. He will hands down be the starter next year.

i remember one of the knocks on morris coming out of high school was supposed to be arm strength, but it does not appear that is the case. several other players have mentioned his arm strength when asked about morris, and in the post a-day interviews i think it was perry who said he had the strongest arm he (perry) ever seen.

Last year is about the only time I've ever learned shite from A-Day - this Yeldon guy is going to be better than I thought. This year, it was back to normal with me taking next to nothing from a spring scrimmage against yourself with lots of guys on the field that won't be in a play again until next spring.

Basically, I saw nothing to warrant concern or unusual excitement.

Rewatching it, CK is an absolute monster. You can tell that he has been working in the weight room.

Yeldon has a really good chance of going to New York in December. He pretty much makes it look easy against our excellent defense, just think about what he is going to do against everyone else's defense this year.

So with AJ throwing to Cooper, KB7, Black, Howard, Yeldon out of the backfield, and whoever else...the offense will be boring? Jesus Christ man...

He said 2014, so AJ won't be throwing to those guys, and KB7 won't be on the team anymore. I don't think it'll be boring though.

I think we might regress to a 2011 type offense, which wasn't bad in the least bit. We'll have Yeldon as a Junior, Cooper as a Junior, OJ Howard as a Sophomore, a solid line as always.... the only thing we don't know is QB. The only guy I would be worried about taking snaps in 2014 is Ely, and I'd imagine the process button will be pushed soon anyway. I have full confidence in us moving forward after AJ
