After the first game and CJones break out return game I thought this might be a good topic to revisit.

It was one game. Let us calm down a bit from the hysteria.

Hopefully we can continue our success there.

Just hang on to the ball and be decent, that's all I'm asking out of the kid.

I'm still not a fan of who we have back there. Yes, he scored twice on two returns, but he still doesn't seem that "electric". Those two returns were due to good blocking and poor tackling. I want to see a guy who can make people miss in spectacular fashion. Javy/Palmer type guy.

I'd never want Dee Hart returning anything but his jersey to the laundry guy. He just doesn't have it.

Well we dont have a palmer or arenas. Christion Jones is the best we have, and is off to a GREAT start. Give the guy some credit.

He had a great game and I hope he keeps it up. I'm just skeptical.

Me too.

I don't know why people are always afraid of guys getting hurt on returns. If you KNOW you're going to throw the ball, you try to throw it to your best receiver. If you KNOW they're going to kick the ball to you, why not let your best guy try to run it back? A good return game is HUGE weapon. Those '08 and '09 teams probably would have lost some games if Javy hadn't been creating great field position time after time. Even when teams started kicking away from him, they kicked it short and out of bounds giving us good field position anyway.

Agreed. Punt returners don't get hurt nearly as much as one might think. I think players are more likely to get hurt playing WR than returning punts, IMO.
