Couldn't make it five more days without an arrest.
At least I can't currently think of an arrest since January.

Hand is about the last guy I would've expected this from.

Is it really that hard to call an Uber? Sheesh. Hopefully Saban runs him until he pukes a few times and makes him do a ton of community service. Will be interesting to see if he misses any time in the FSU game.

we need his leadership for game one. This is going to hurt as he will probably be out for this game,

It wouldn't bother me if DUI was an automatic dismissal from the program. It's so fricking easy to not get a dui, and I know that Saban preaches to them about not drinking and driving. It is total and absolute stupidity.

Nah, it's his 1st offense. I'd be shocked if he didn't play. Geno Smith got a DUI a couple of years ago and started game 1.

No way he misses the FSU game.

He's a Senior so I think so.

Geno got a DUI in March. This is basically August at this point. Tough to argue for no suspension when it occurs a month from the opening game compared to five.

Getting a DUI these days is absolutely inexcusable. There are so many alternative options out there in 2017: Uber, Lyft, and even a good, old-fashioned taxi. What the hell was this guy thinking?!

Being an idiot. Hand is a smart kid. He's majoring in civil engineering afterall, but he's 21. We all made mistakes at 21. Some more egregious than others.

i once was 21 and never made a mistake that would cause me to get arrested. Plenty of his team mates obviously have not made mistakes. Pretty sure NS will need to make an example of him since he is a senior. Let's hope this is his first "crime" within the program

What do you suggest is the punishment M Broker?

A shame that all young men don't stack up to the beacon of integrity that was the 21 yr old broker.

He qualifies for youthful offender with his age. Deferred program completion and this isn't even on his record. That will be $2k.

If this is his first offense, then I don't even care. If he blew .1 or less, then I even think arresting him was bogus. .08 is a ridiculously low threshold.

I hope it is not severe but some of the assholes here seem to think all 21 year olds do drugs and drive around under the influence.

It's lower than .08. .08 just means they don't have to find anymore cause to charge you with it because you're assumed to be impaired at that point. A .04 can get a DUI.
