78-17 (82%) Overall
47-9 (84%) ACC
3 Conference Titles
4 Division Titles
2 Playoff Appearances
4 BCS/Playoff Appearances

Just for comparative purposes, Danny Ford at Clemson (keep in mind this is pre-FSU ACC) in 11 seasons (plus 1 bowl game)
96-29-4 (77%) Overall
56-16-1 (78%) ACC
5 Conference Championships
1 National Championship

I never thought Dabo would be this good a coach and this consistent a winner. Props to him. He is now, im my opinion, one of the undisputed Top 5 or 6 coaches in the country.

I think he realizes that he is not a genius offensively or defensively so he does a great job of bringing in guys who are and giving them a lot of power. He is a great motivator but not necessarily a great coach X's and O's wise IMO.

It takes a smart guy to get passed his pride and I applaud him for that

Agree. He understands his roll as CEO of the program, sets the tone of the program from top down and makes sure everyone in his organization is 100% bought in to their method of doing things and then lets them do what they do.

They are tough, talented and consistent.

That Ohio State - Clemson game should be tons of fun.

Dabo is a great recruiter and motivator. He's not a great X's and O's guy. He has a great run going at Clemson. I'll be very interested to see how it goes the next couple of years after D. Watson leaves. That could decide Dabo's career.

Agree - if he keeps winning at this pace without Watson he is solidified.

However, pre-Watson he wasn't a slouch. They went 42-11 (26-6 ACC) from 2011 to 2014.

He had another great college QB before Watson in Boyd.

We all know it takes great talent to win games in CFB, so if he keeps recruiting he should win 9+ a year

I think Clemson wins. Watson is a beast when the lights are brightest.

So is Urban. Unfortunately it is right after ours so anybody at the game will miss at least the 1st half.

They don't have much talent at QB on the roster, but they will be getting some soon in Hunter Johnson.

As long as it's not immediately following Saban's retirement and he can prove that he can win consistently without needing a heismanworthy QB at the helm every year (and can adjust his gameplan accordingly should he not have one at his disposal), I'd love to bring Dabo home.
