Ryland Goede, TE, Acworth (Ga.) Kennesaw Mountain

Goede could end up being the top tight end in the class when all is said and done. Georgia and Auburn were the first to recruit the 6-foot-7, 235-pounder, but Alabama didn't wait long to get involved, offering the four-star prospect earlier this year. Of the offer from the Crimson Tide, Goede described it as "beyond exciting."

Prediction: Auburn

Quinn Carroll, OT, Minneapolis (Minn.) Edina Senior

Alabama joined the race for the rising offensive tackle earlier this spring when Carroll visited Tuscaloosa. The four-star lineman told BamaOnLine he "blacked out" upon hearing he was receiving an offer from the Crimson Tide. Alabama has turned to Minnesota for linemen before with current center JC Hassenauer, and looks to be in good shape as it stands with Carroll. The 6-foot-6, 280-pounder is likely to continue enjoying the recruiting process before making any decisions.

Prediction: Alabama

Clay Webb, OG, Oxford (Ala.)

Webb is arguably Alabama's top target on the offensive line in the 2019 class. The interior lineman, recruited as a center, is high on both Alabama and Auburn, and is likely to end up in state. The Tide seems to hold the edge at this juncture.

Evan Neal, OT, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

Neal actually committed to the Crimson Tide for a short period last spring after picking up an offer, but decided to pull back considering all of the new attention he was getting. The 6-foot-7, 378-pounder could certainly rejoin the class, but for now it looks like Miami has taken over the momentum in his recruitment.

Prediction: Miami

Ishmael Sopsher, DT, Amite (La.)

The nation's top defensive tackle has long been fond of the Crimson Tide, at one point saying he has the best player-coach relationship with Bama defensive line coach Karl Dunbar. This could certainly be a scenario that signing former Amite star Devonta Smith in the 2017 class helps the Tide's chances.

Prediction: LSU

King Mwikuta, OLB, Lagrange (Ga.) Troup County

Mwikuta has visited Tuscaloosa a number of times this spring alongside his teammate and fellow Bama offeree 2020 receiver/athlete Kobe Hudson. This one likely has a long way to go, but Alabama certainly looks like one of the top teams as it stands.

Brian Williams, S, Dallas (Texas) Bishop Dunne

Alabama got the top-ranked safety on campus for A-Day, a visit Williams called "wonderful." The elite defensive back has more schools he hopes to see before making a decision. No one school looks to be trending as it stands.

Prediction: Arkansas

Trikweze Bridges, S, Lanett (Ala.) Senior

Alabama, along with Florida and Mississippi State, recently jumped into the mix for the 6-foot-3, 175-pound in-state athlete. It's early in the process, but the Tide has already gotten Bridges on campus and made a positive impression. Expect the rising safety to return to Tuscaloosa for camp.

Nolan Smith, WDE, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy -- Georgia commit

Smith, a Peach State native, jumped on the Georgia offer earlier this year, but has continued listening to other programs and plans to take other visits. At a school like IMG, Smith will have no lack in attention, and is one to continue watching as his recruitment unfolds. For now, Georgia looks to have a firm grasp on the 6-foot-3, 223-pounder's commitment.

Prediction: Georgia

Maurice Hampton, CB, Memphis (Tenn.) University -- LSU commit

It seems early commitments rarely stick throughout a top-rated prospect's entire high school career. We'll see if that's the case with Hampton, who pledged to the Tigers last July heading into his sophomore year. Alabama offered at Junior Day back in February and will likely get Hampton back on campus this summer. Hampton plans to also play baseball at LSU, another big selling point for the Tigers.

Prediction: LSU

Kayvon Thibodeaux, WDE, Thousand Oaks (Calif.) Oaks Christian

It's usually to be expected that the No. 1 player in the country, is also No. 1 on many recruiting boards across the nation. Alabama offered Thibodeaux in February, something the 6-foot-5, 235-pounder said "feels amazing." The Cali native hopes to visit Alabama this summer.

Prediction: USC

KN had an insider up earlier on 4* LB JJ Peterson. Here's summary

- Travis Williams & Chip Lindsey stopped by to visit Peterson this week. Apparently UGA and MICH coaches were there as well

- Once again T-WILL is the man. Peterson says the 2 have hit it off and Williams is the coach Peterson is closest too right now.

- He wants to get back to AU for a visit. KN later said that he plans on coming to BCW which is pretty huge

- Plans to commit later during his senior season. That's probably good news for AU who is chasing Bama right now

- KN says AU is trending up and is a solid #2. Bama still the leader so AU has work to do. UGA is trending down, in fact might be 4th on his list behind Oregon

KN had another VIP article up on JJ Peterson

Travis Williams is the main reason AU went from not really in his recruitment to #2. He claims that it's close between Auburn & Bama. Peterson lost his dad went he was younger to Lupus so he likes idea of having a father figure on campus and sees that in T-WILL. Says like how Williams came from a tougher beginning to "changing the game" in college and how he coaches his players. Plans to visit in the next 2-3 weeks, KN believes it will be for BCW. Peterson plans to commit the 2nd round of the playoff which is an oddly specific time ?

This is gonna be an interesting battle. Once again T-WILL is doing work but not sure if it will be enough. Lots of AU/Bama battles over LB targets this season in Peterson, Quay Walker & Richard Jibunor

Herb Hand apparently visited 4* OT Nicholas Petite-Frere recently for his spring game. This was 2nd visit by coaching staff as Chip Lindsey and Tim Horton visited earlier. I have seen some Bama sites report that Tide and ND are his top two but CB picks are split between Irish & Gators. Not sure how big of a player we are in his recruitment

KN has VIP article up on Petite-Frere

Miami, Bama & AU were all at his spring game. He said that our message to him is we are about to make a run and are looking for strong additions up front, we think he can be that guy. He has only visited AU once which was last summer with his mom. KN backs up what I have read elsewhere which is that ND & Bama are considered his top 2. However KN says some sources say AU will be a factor especially if we can get him to visit again. Petite-Frere plans to sit down with his high school coach and mom to map out plan for this summer. Won't commit till after senior season

This is a lighter year at the OT spot after last season's monster class but it seems like William Barnes, Richard Gouraige & Nicholas Petite-Frere are our top 3 targets. Of that group Barnes to me is the clear #1 and the dude I want the most but seems like a heavy Gator lean. I think we have the best shot at Gouraige but are trailing UF & LSU. Unless Petite-Frere visits this summer then I won't get my hopes to high on him

I would not be surprised if we signed a JUCO OT this cycle as it looks like they will be hard to come by this year for us unless something changes. Good class for OGs. I am hoping we tank Tank Jenkins even tho he's another guard. Load up on interior guys since it's a stronger class this year and double down on OTs next cycle if we can't get any of those FL guys to change their minds

We haven’t even done a numerical Rivals100 for the class of 2019 yet, but with so many offers going out for the class of 2020 as the recruiting cycle continues to speed up, we thought it would be a good time to take a look at some of the top rising sophomores in the country. We call it 20 for 20 and will roll out four a day this week for you to keep an eye on. Today’s list is led by yet another top quarterback in what appears to be a loaded class at the position.

This final group is headlined by yet another quarterback who received middle school offers in Drew Pyne, who will be a top target for nearly every program in the country. Pyne isn’t as big as some of the other coveted 2020 quarterbacks, but he has perhaps the best accuracy of the bunch. Jesus Machado is a freaky athlete who already hits like a senior in high school and will only get more intimidating as he grows.

Bryn Tucker is a big and nasty offensive lineman and it will be interesting to see if the Vols can keep him in state like they did with his teammate Cade Mays and whether he projects as a guard or tackle down the line. Finally, Kevin Swint is long, athletic and can cover a ton of ground with instincts that belie his age.

Here’s a breakdown of each from our analyst team.

QB Drew Pyne

“Pyne is a very advanced prospect when it comes to footwork and accuracy and it will be good to see how his mechanics progress as he gets bigger and older. Listed as a pro-style quarterback, Pyne is more athletic and mobile than people give him credit for. Expect him to show of those skills as he continues to torch the New England public school leagues. Pyne already had the attention of the recruiting world after picking up offers from Florida State and Alabama before playing a down of high school football.” – Adam Friedman, Rivals.com Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Analyst

ILB Jesus Machado

“Machado is put together incredibly well for his age and has the offers to match his frame. He doesn't participate in many camps, but the film on him is impressive and projecting him as a top 2020 recruit isn't a stretch by any means. Machado is reeling in scholarship offers by the week and recently landed Oregon and Tennessee.” – Rob Cassidy, Rivals.com Florida Recruiting Analyst

OT Bryn Tucker

"Tucker was a star at the middle school level and quickly carried it over to high school, starting as a freshman alongside 2018 five-star and Tennessee commit Cade Mays. The two, along with Mays' younger brother Cooper, combined to form one of the biggest and most impressive offensive line trios in the country. Tucker reminds me a lot of Class of 2017 five-star Jedrick Wills, which is high praise considering the rise Wills saw during his career. Tucker already has offers from some of the nation's top schools and Tennessee, Ohio State and LSU are going to be factors in his recruitment for the long haul." – Woody Wommack, Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst

OLB Kevin Swint

“Swint doesn't look like a freshman. On the hoof, he is long and tall and he plays big. He has added good weight and strength this off-season and he is likely going to take his game to the next level in the fall. He can be an edge rusher, he can drop in the flats and he really flies to the ball. Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Michigan and Tennessee among others have offered this spring. He will be able to go wherever he wants.” – Chad Simmons, Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst
