The best recruiting rivalry remains Urban Meyer vs. Jim Harbaugh but a close second, at least to me, is going to be Nick Saban vs. Ed Orgeron. Saban will continue to charge hard into Louisiana to attempt to steal away top talent and Orgeron will have to fend him off if he wants to win the SEC West and defeat Bama. This year and especially on National Signing Day, the two went head to head often. Well, to be honest right now it’s not a rivalry because Saban killed Orgeron in Louisiana, but we’ll see what happens next year.

Jonathan King announced Thursday on Twitter that he will replace Matt Lange as the creative director for football. Lange revealed last month he was accepting a similar job at Texas.
According to his LinkedIn page, King has worked in Tennessee's athletics department since October 2012 and is currently the director of creative services.
He had previously served as the assistant director of Crimson Tide Productions, working within that branch for seven years. . .

The Carolina Panthers hired Lance Taylor as WRs coach. He was at Stanford. And I had hope Saban might give him a look. But it seems Locksley will coach WRs and a new TE coach will be hired.

Yeah Tim missed on Browning, but Browning even said himself that he told Urban he was not coming prior to committing to tOSU, so that situation was pretty wild and crazy throughout.

He usually makes picks right before the recruit reveals their commitment.
When he didn't with Browning, he got burned.
It isn't like he is making picks weeks or months out. I'm not hating on him, at all. Just want to state the obvious.
