To be honest, I struggle with what to post on here at times. When I have even an inkling of a thought that something that I post might change things to Bama's detriment, it really makes me think twice. There is some stuff that goes on the net that you know bothers coaches to no end.

To be honest, I wish the stuff on Marvin Wilson could have waited to have been posted until after Signing Day. Yes, stuff posted on message boards can and has affected things before. A public (non-pay) site like this one, especially.

As annoying as it can be for some of the "insiders" to be vague at times, there are times where I can understand it now. I'm certainly no insider, but passing along info from insiders to a different message board sort of makes me think in the same way.

I like and appreciate the sharing of info as much as anybody, but if someone tells me that certain info "shouldn't leave this place" (implying that the staff doesn't want it in the public), I'm going to honor their wishes, whether it's logical to me or not.

Why do you think Okudah is trending OU? Saw you mention that yesterday? Based on everything I've read OSU insiders would be shocked if he wasn't in the class, and he has been the lead recruiter for OSU on guys like Wilson and Browning

One thing that I've learned in following recruiting and coaching situations under Saban is that it really IS fluid (annoying as the over-usage of that word may be) quite often with him. I've never seen anything like the changes from month to month in who's ranked where on the recruiting board (if the info that I read is correct).

And on the coaching staff front, I feel confident that the info is correct that Saban told Kiffin BEFORE the 2015 season to be looking for another job at the end of the season, and that things changed. Kiffin asked for another year to get things straight, and Saban believed in him. Things change. Dealing with 17-22 year olds is a dynamic situation, not a static one. Things change quite often.

This isn't necessarily to criticize you, or even in comment to the specific issue you're discussing. It's more just a general observation.

I don't know what to think of the Sark info that's been out there for the past couple weeks. We'll just have to see how that plays out.

Because the OU folks are saying OU is trending. Who knows who's right. You guys have had more go right for you in this recruiting cycle than any team has in the history of recruiting in any one cycle in my lifetime that I've seen, so I expect he'll wind up in Columbus. It seems that your staff can do no wrong this year, for some strange reason. Almost like the good fortune of about 3 cycles rolled into one.

Also I haven't heard anything about Beck leaving. He has been a haus recruiting Texas the last couple years to get this group together. He drives OSU fans made to no end with his coaching but he can recruit

Not if they fired the guy.

You can be "let go" without being fired........they simply tell you that after a certain day, you will not be employeed. If this date is AFTER the EE's are enrolled, well good for LSU. Like the guy said, it's hard to post what we know without posting everything. If you want to dispute everything, I won't bother to argue......I'll keep posting what I can, and let people interpret it how they will.

But Bama has told several recruits that LSU's current plan is for Raymond NOT to be coaching there next year.

I understand that if your contract is up and they don't renew it that is one way to be "let go" without being fired, but if you have a contract and you are "let go" before that expires (and it isn't YOU leaving), then that IS being fired and you are due money from that contract.

Besides, we aren't taking about the kind of coach who would be let go for performance. He's a solid recruiter and on field coach.

You may ultimately be proven right, and I don't mean this as a slight directly at you but more so about the situation, but I would doubt it if you are right here. The guy is related to Moses. You honestly think if he was being "let go" that he'd just play along and string family on? It simply doesn't make sense man. It's not logical unless there is some personal behind scenes thing or an NCAA thing.

There could be a personality conflict behind the scenes. Maybe Raymond felt a slight that he wasn't named interim coach despite being at lsu for longer than O.

Look at Kiffin. He has been wildly successful, yet it looks like he won't be retained here.

Like I said, this has come from many credible people who are privy to info most of us aren't.......chose to believe it or not. Not going argue about why they would, only that it's been reported that he won't be on the staff after the EE's have enrolled.

I believe it, hell, seems like they want to replace everyone with Bama personnel. I'm not sure why this seems outlandish

At the very least, they were paranoid enough to delete the thread on tRant

Hi guys!

I've heard Ed O wants his own guy, wants to add his old DC John Thompson. Raymond knowing he's there for recruiting and the bowl game.

OSU getting some movement with Darnay Holmes today...could be a Wade flip for Bama or as 3714 was saying could be an Okudah move?

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, as if a 5* wants in you let him the Hell in I guess

According to Hank, Wade will make a final decision tomorrow and according to sources he is expected to stick with Ohio State

Not disagreeing with Hank but why does a recruit need to make a final decision for a school he is already committed to. Really no need to say a thing and with dead period starting that will be it.
