Then TSWSNBN was born and everyone used it for a while, but it is dead now. I haven't seen T Rich post over there in months. TideWarrior used to post there a lot too. Magilla still posts here from time to time. I have no idea what happened to Child.

That's what the email would be for. Ha. As annoying and "insider-wannabe vague" sounding as it is, sometimes I think it's best not to post certain things on a public board. If Signing Day were a few days ago, I think he would have signed with Alabama. If it were today, I think it would be LSU. And it'll probably change again. I get the impression that it's not the circus Marvin Wilson's recruitment is, but it's pretty busy nonetheless.

Because I don't think he'll ever play. We'll recruit over him. He isn't going to play over Harris. He won't play over any of the other running backs we're rumored to be in on as a 3rd back in this class. And he'll be passed up by whatever stud running back we recruit next year and the year after as we do like clockwork. It's a waste. I argued the same the year we signed 4 running backs. One became a stud, one got mad and sabotaged our class and transferred to a rival. The other two got lost in the shuffle and became knuckleheads. I was of the opinion then that we should've signed Henry and Tenpenny only. I'm still of that opinion.

If not "wasted" at RB, it'd still be the same conversation at any other position. Someone will always end up on the bottom of the depth chart, still have to have the numbers.

Yes, that's why I prefer those scholarships go to positions that you can play more than one on the field at a time. You can only play one running back at a time. Same with qb. I prefer to sign a bunch of O line and D line.


The max running backs i'd sign in any class would be 2, and that's only if they are both studs. It's an ego position.

I'd kind of like to keep Robinson as an Athelete (not that we've had much luck with that, but I see him as someone who will contribute in a positive way (but probably not a ton at RB)). However, I know spots are limited. Can we teach him to longsnap?

If they're not better than the kids we can get elsewhere.....yeah. I mean, to what end do you want us to go after Alabama kids? It's not a great year in state. It is what it is.
